摘要： Disclosed is a multicast controlling apparatus and method in a multi hop network. The multicast controlling apparatus in the multi hop network includes a packet determining unit to receive a packet from a group management query device or a station, and to determine whether the received packet is a group management protocol packet, a packet type distinguishing unit to distinguish a type of the received packet when the received packet is determined as the group management protocol packet, and a packet transmitting unit to transmit the packet to a second port excluding a first port that receives the query message, when the received packet is determined as the query message.

A control signal may be modulated to an audible frequency band and thereby be transmitted from a transmission apparatus to a reception apparatus using the broadcasting system. 摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for obtaining a viewing channel identifier when a user desires to participate in a video broadcast in a channel the user is viewing in a section of an interactive broadcast service. The present invention may include an audio/video receiver to collect broadcast data from a user viewing channel, and extract audio/video data from the collected broadcast data, a sampling unit to sample the extracted audio/video data, a preprocessing unit to encode the sampled audio/video data, and a viewing channel determining unit to compare the encoded audio/video data to audio/video sampling data for N broadcast channels received from a channel identification server, and obtain a viewing channel identifier according to a result of comparison.

摘要： A personal-ordered multimedia data search service method and apparatuses thereof are provided. The apparatus includes: a server which extracts feature information and meta data of entire screen or partial region of each scene-image of multimedia to generate image index information, and then obtains and provides search result images and meta data having feature information similar to feature information of image query information by searching the image index information, when image query information is received; and a set-top box which plays multimedia, wherein when a user issues a request for searching an arbitrary for the playing multimedia, the set-top box extracts feature information of the entire or partial region of the image to generate the image query information and transmits the image query information requesting for searching the image by using the extracted feature information to the server, and after that, when the search result images and meta data are provided from the server, browses the search result images and meta data on a display apparatus. Accordingly, it is possible to maximize user's satisfaction in searching for multimedia data.
