    摘要: An apparatus, electronic apparatus and method for adjusting jitter buffer is provided. A previous jitter buffer size based on a jitter buffer size determined according to an adaptive jitter buffer size calculation algorithm is applied in predicting a jitter buffer size of future time such that the predicted jitter buffer size is applied to obtain a jitter buffer size of a valid time. The audio quality of the speech transmitted over a packet switched network is enhanced.

The apparatus includes: a plurality of first protocol execution units for receiving a plurality of protocol packets, executing operations according to the received protocols, analyzing the received protocols, and generating protocol execution parameters. Databases store connection information between the objects and protocol conversion functions. A protocol conversion unit interfaces first protocol execution unit and the megaco protocol execution unit, and searches for destination objects and the protocol conversion functions in the database, and converts the generated protocol execution parameters to protocol types of the destination objects, based on condition modes of objects which transmitted the protocol packets.

    摘要: An apparatus and method of improving the quality of a speech codec are provided. In the method, a first energy of a signal decoded by a low-band codec is calculated, and a second energy of a signal decoded by a low-band enhancement mode is calculated. Then, when the first energy is less than a first threshold value or less than a product of the second energy and a second threshold value, a size of the decoded signal is scaled. Accordingly, generation of a quantization error with respect to a silence segment is reduced.

    摘要: A direct memory access controller (DMAC) for improving data transmission efficiency in multi-media over internet protocol (MMoIP) and a method therefor are provided. The DMAC requests and obtains a bus control right by determining that a DMA request signal is generated not only when a DMA request signal of a module for processing data in MMoIP is received but also when an operation of a timer operating during a predetermined period set considering periodicity of data in MMoIP is completed. Thus, the time taken to request a bus control right in a conventional DMAC can be reduced, thereby improving data transmission efficiency in MMoIP.
