摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receives a downlink transmission from an eNodeB including a plurality of spatial layers transmitted to a plurality of WTRUs paired for multi-user MIMO. The WTRU decodes the downlink transmission based on a corresponding WTRU-specific reference signal. WTRU-specific reference signals are multiplexed using a frequency and code division multiplexing. WTRU-specific reference signals for different sub-group of antenna ports are multiplexed onto different subcarriers in a frequency domain and the WTRU-specific reference signals of the same sub-group of antennas ports are multiplied by an orthogonal cover code. The resource elements used for the WTRU-specific reference signals on antenna ports in one sub-group may be muted on antenna ports in another sub-group. A WTRU may transmit the uplink demodulation reference signal without precoding. The number of resource blocks allocated for the demodulation reference signal may be greater than the number of resource blocks allocated for the payload.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmissions are disclosed. A base station may precode wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU)-specific reference signals and data that are transmitted to a WTRU using a randomly selected precoder. The precoder may be selected based on a predefined precoder selection sequence or by the base station. A different precoder may be applied to different resource blocks (RBs). In addition, a large delay cyclic delay diversity (CDD) or discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spreading may be applied on the WTRU-specific reference signals and the data. For heterogeneous deployed antennas, spatial diversity gain is achieved by dynamically scheduling resources between transmission points. A hopping scheme may be applied across the transmission points as the resources are dynamically partitioned between the transmission points. A different randomly selected precoder may be applied to each RB transmitted from a different transmission point.

摘要: An apparatus for use in a UE includes processing circuitry coupled to a memory. To configure the UE for high-speed train (HST) communications in a 5G-NR network, the processing circuitry is to decode configuration signaling received from an RRH operating as a gNB. The configuration signaling indicating an upcoming configuration transmission of network assistance information from the RRH. The network assistance information received from the RRH is decoded. TRS-based processing is performed to track a frequency offset (FO) associated with a downlink data transmission from the RRH. The TRS-based processing using a single-shot FO estimation based on a FO instruction in the network assistance information received from the RRH. The downlink data transmission is demodulated based on applying a local oscillator (LO) adjustment using the FO.

摘要: A next-generation node B (gNB) configured for operation in a fifth-generation system (5GS) encode signalling for transmission to a user equipment (UE) indicating a Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) state change to activate a new TCI state. A physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is encoded in accordance with a highest aggregation level if the signalling indicating the TCI state change indicates activation of a new TCI state for the PDCCH. A physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) is encoded in accordance with a lowest modulation and coding scheme (MCS) level if the signalling indicating the TCI state change indicates activation of a new TCI state for the PDSCH. After the TCI state change, reference signals (RS) are transmitted with a different spatial filter or different antenna ports demodulation of the PDCCH and PDSCH by the UE.
