Abstract: A hair care appliance is provided and includes a diverter configured to divert a portion of airflow from an airflow path through the body into the handle to cool electrical components disposed within the handle. In an exemplary embodiment, a hair care appliance is provided having a handle and a body coupled to the handle. A fan assembly is disposed within the body and is configured to generate an airflow. A first portion of the airflow can flow from an inlet of the body to an outlet of the body. A second portion of the airflow can flow into the handle to cool at least one electrical component provided in the handle.
