    Abstract: A touch panel display device includes a display panel and a touch panel. The touch panel includes a plurality of first electrodes, at least one set of auxiliary electrodes, and a plurality of second electrodes. The touch panel further includes a plurality of first wires connected to ends of the plurality of first electrodes and the at least one set of auxiliary electrodes, and a plurality of second wires connected to ends of the plurality of second electrodes. Some of the plurality of first electrodes and the remaining electrodes have ends opposite to each other in an extending direction of the first electrodes and respectively connected to the first wires. The one set of auxiliary electrodes are provided between the first electrodes adjacent to each other and having opposite ends connected to the first wires, and have opposite ends connected to corresponding ones of the first wires.

    Abstract: A configuration of a touch-panel-equipped display device in which the occurrence of moire can be suppressed is provided. A touch-panel-equipped display device (1) includes: a color filter layer (121) that includes a plurality of pixels (PX) arranged in matrix along a first direction and a second direction that intersect at a right angle; and a sensor pattern layer (1220) that includes a plurality of electrodes (1220) arranged along the second direction at a predetermined sensor interval (SY) and is disposed so as to overlap the color filter layer (121) in a plan view. Each of the plurality of pixels (PX) includes n color filters (121R, 121G, 121B) that transmit light in different wavelength regions from one another, where n represents an integer of 3 or more. The n color filters are arranged at predetermined subpixel intervals (CSFY) along the second direction. The sensor interval (SY) and the subpixel interval (CSFY) satisfy the following expression (1): CFSY×(n×m+1)≦SY≦CFSY×(n×(m+1)−1)   (1) where m represents a positive integer.

    Abstract: A position input device includes electrodes formed of metal with a belt-like shape, extended along a first direction, and arranged with a space therebetween along a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction, lines each electrically connected to one end of each of the electrodes in the first direction to receive a signal, dummy electrodes formed of metal with a belt-like shape and each disposed in a space between the electrodes that are adjacent, and dummy lines each coupled to an end of each of the dummy electrodes in the first direction in an electrically disconnected state. The electrodes, the lines, the dummy electrodes, and the dummy lines each include a front side surface and a back side surface in a plane along the first direction and the second direction, and at least one of the front side surface and the back side surface is blackened.
