摘要: The embodiments of the present invention provide a transmission and reception mechanism for a downlink control channel applicable to a narrowband MTC UE, and a base station and a user equipment for executing the mechanism. The method according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: determining an MPDCCH-PRB-set and determining a set of MPDCCH candidates in the determined MPDCCH-PRB-set according to an aggregation level, wherein a number of PRB-pairs in the MPDCCH-PRB-set is 2, 4 or 6; and monitoring the MPDCCH in the determined set of MPDCCH candidates to obtain downlink control information for an MTC UE.

摘要: Provided is a resource allocation method suitable for a downlink control channel of a narrowband MTC UE, and a base station and an MTC UE for executing the method. The method according to embodiments of the present invention includes: allocating one or more MPDCCH-PRB-sets for an MTC UE in order to transmit the MPDCCH, the numbers of PRB-pairs in the MPDCCH-PRB-sets being 2, 4, or 6; and transmitting MPDCCH allocation information to the MTC UE, the MPDCCH allocation information including information indicating the MPDCCH-PRB-sets. The allocated MPDCCH-PRB-sets may be associated with repetition levels.

摘要: There is provided a paging message receiving method at a user equipment, comprising reporting status information of the user equipment to a base station, the status information including information on coverage enhancement of the user equipment and information on a cell on which the user equipment camps, the information on coverage enhancement including information indicating a level of coverage enhancement that the user equipment needs; receiving from the base station a paging repetition level configuration message which indicates a paging repetition level of the user equipment; and receiving from the base station a paging message that is transmitted according to the paging repetition level of the user equipment and/or the information on the cell on which the user equipment camps. There are also provided related methods at the base station and a network side device and related devices. According to the invention, the resource utilization of LTE-enabled MTC UEs is enhanced and the spectrum/energy spectrum efficiency is improved.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a base station. The base station comprises: a transmitting unit configured to transmit a Machine Type Communication (MTC) Physical Downlink Control Channel (M-PDCCH) and Physical Downlink Shared Channels (PDSCHs). A start Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol of a PDSCH carrying First System Information Broadcast (SIB1) is preconfigured. Respective start OFDM symbols of the M-PDCCH and other PDSCHs are configured via the SIB1. The present disclosure also provides a User Equipment (UE) and associated methods.
