In one embodiment, a stand includes a movement mechanism adapted to allow a tray to move along a range of travel relative to a stand base. 摘要: A mounting system includes a first surface and a second surface. A device panel can include at least first and second engaging members. The first and second surfaces are sized and shaped to engage the first and second engaging members respectively, and the first and second engaging members move along the first and second surfaces. The first and second surfaces are sized and shaped so the reaction forces between the first and second engaging members and the mounting panel cooperate to counteract the moment created by the center of gravity of the device panel to continuously immobilize the device panel at the plurality of angles relative to the support surface.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide, among other things, computing carts with a storage compartment having a sliding work surface that selectively provides access to at least a portion of a storage space within the storage compartment. In some cases the storage space is defined at least in part by a storage chassis and a sliding work surface positioned over the storage chassis, with the sliding work surface at least in part defining a top extent of the storage space. In some cases a latch mechanism releasably maintains a sliding work surface in a closed position and allows movement to an open position when released. Some embodiments include a lock mechanism to secure a sliding work surface in a closed position to prevent access to a storage space. Strengthening mechanisms may also be provided to strengthen the storage compartment in the open and/or closed positions.

摘要: A support arm includes an arm having a proximal arm pivot joint that provides a range of elevational rotation of the arm. The arm further includes a distal component mount. The support arm further includes a biasing device adapted to provide an increasing force with increasing displacement. A flexible element is coupled between the biasing device and the arm with a linkage therebetween. At least a portion of the flexible element forms a segment between the arm and the linkage. The segment is at an angle relative to the arm, and the angle varies during rotation of the arm. An arm end location of the segment is fixed in relation to the arm during rotation of the arm. A linkage end location of the segment changes in relation to the pivot joint during rotation of the arm.

In another example, a method for making a display screen tilt device includes rotatably coupling a device panel to a mounting panel. A first portion of an elastic member is coupled to the mounting panel and a second portion of the elastic member is coupled substantially adjacent to a first pulley. A flexible element, in rolling communication with the first pulley, is coupled between the mounting panel and the device panel.
