摘要： A hinge mounted between a cover and a base of a notebook has a base bracket having a mounting hole, a cover bracket having a stationary hole, a limiting spacer and a pintle. The limiting spacer is mounted securely on one side of the base bracket and has a mounting hole and a limiting flange. The pintle has a proximal end mounted securely in the stationary hole of the cover bracket, a distal end mounted rotatably through the mounting hole of the limiting spacer and the mounting hole of the base bracket, and a head formed near the proximal end. The head has a limiting protrusion selectively abutting a front end or a rear end of the limiting flange to keep the cover of the notebook in position when the cover being closed or opened and to prevent the base bracket from resulting stress concentration.

摘要： A laptop computer hinge includes a pivot rod composed of a first rod and a second rod, a bracket firmly mounted on the first rod, a supporting seat mounted on the pivot rod and pivotable relative to the pivot rod, a stop mounted on the pivot rod and firmly connected to the supporting seat, a positioning block firmly mounted on the pivot rod to be adjacent to the stop, pads mounted on the second rod and a securing element securely connected to a free end of the second rod of the pivot rod to securely sandwich the pads, the positioning block and the stop with the supporting seat. A combining disk is provided on the second rod of the pivot rod and sandwiched between the pads and the positioning block to position the positioning block relative to the second rod of the pivot rod.

摘要： A pivotal device is mounted between a cap and a base of an electronic appliance, and has a resisting washer and an actuating washer rotated relative to each other. The resisting washer has an arcuate skewed surface formed in a side facing to the actuating washer and the actuating washer has lugs formed in a side and sliding along the skewed surface. With the coordination of the lugs and skewed surface, the cap has an enhancing friction when the cap is closing relative the base. Furthermore, the cap has a decreasing friction when the cap is opening relative to the base.
