    Abstract: A rotary shaft structure is provided with rotational and locating functions based on a compact request condition. The rotary shaft structure includes a combination of a shaft body and a braking device, in which the braking device includes a first end provided with a limiting portion and a second end provided with an assembling portion, thereby preventing an axial displacement of a rotary shaft. The shaft body corresponding to the first end of the braking device and the limiting portion thereof includes a base portion and at least one braking portion formed on the base portion, in which a locating function is formed when an interference state of the limiting portion of the braking device and the braking portion of the shaft body is formed, thereby improving the conditions of assembly and fitting difficulties, complication and time-consuming process in conventional skills.

    Abstract: A hinge assembly has a pintle, a stationary leaf, a rotating leaf, a rotating pressing disk, a stationary pressing disk, a biasing assembly and a fastener. The rotating pressing disk is mounted rotatably around the pintle, is attached non-rotatably to the rotating leaf and has a track face, an inner track and an outer track. The stationary pressing disk is mounted securely around the pintle and has a protrusion face, an inner protrusion and an outer protrusion. The inner and outer protrusions respectively contact slidably with the inner and outer track on the rotating pressing disk. With the arrangement of the inner and outer tracks on the rotating pressing disk and the inner and outer protrusions on the stationary pressing disk, the resistance provided by the hinge assembly is variable.

    Abstract: An interfering assembly of a hinge includes a male element including a first raised portion and a second raised portion, and a female element defining a through hole. A sliding surface apart from a center of the through hole protrudes from the female element. An inner slot and an outer slot are formed beside the sliding surface. The female element defines a first depressed portion and a second depressed portion correspondingly engaged with the first and second raised portions. Widths of the inner slot and the outer slot are gradually varied. During rotation of the rotating member, the first and second raised portions are slid out from the first and second depressed portions, respectively, and then in frictional engagement with the sliding surface, together with partial portions covering the inner and outer slots, correspondingly.

    Abstract: A hinge assembly includes a pivot shaft, a first leaf, a fixing leaf, a restricting member, a deformable member, two limiting blocks, and a fastening member. The rotatable leaf is non-rotatably connected to the pivot shaft and the fixing leaf is rotatably connected to the pivot shaft. The restricting member and the deformable member are rotatably sleeved on the pivot shaft. The restricting member defines two positioning grooves. The deformable member includes a base plate and two protrusions extending substantially perpendicularly from the base plate. The limiting blocks are partially received in the positioning grooves and connected to the deformable member. When the rotatable leaf is rotated, the limiting blocks slide out of the positioning grooves to press the base plate of the deformable member such that the deformable member becomes elastically deformed. The fastening member is fixed on an end of the pivot shaft.

    Abstract: A hinge has a pintle, a spacer assembly, a stationary bracket and a rotating bracket. The pintle is mounted through the spacer assembly and is connected to the stationary and rotating brackets. The spacer assembly has multiple spacers stacked with each other. Each spacer has a ring segment and a bearing segment. The ring segment is mounted around the pintle. The bearing segment has an absorbing space to absorb the stress acting on the ring segment. Therefore, the spacer sustains less stress to prevent breakage easily and a lifespan of the spacer is extended. Therefore, the hinge has a longer lifespan.

    Abstract: A hinge provides swiveling of a display relative to one side of a host body including a first fastening seat, a pintle, a second fastening seat, a main torsion anchor member, a torsion rotary member, an ancillary torsion anchor member, a compressed elastic reed assembly and a nut. The main torsion anchor member and the torsion rotary member are compressed by a returning force of the compressed elastic reed assembly. When the pintle pivots to a selected angle, the protrusion rapidly slides in a retaining latch trough of the main torsion anchor member through a steep sloped surface so that the display automatically and fully folds over the host body. The torsion rotary member pivots concurrently so that the bulged edge slides on a gradual sloped surface of different gradients so that adequate friction resistance is generated due to compression of the returning force of the compressed elastic reed assembly.

    Abstract: A hinge includes a fixing member, a shaft fixed to the fixing member, a rotating member, an interfering member, and a fastener. The shaft includes a shaft post, and the fastener is fixed to a distal end of the shaft post. The interfering member defines a fixing hole departing from a center of the interfering member, and includes two guiding surfaces. The rotating member defines an oblong adjusting hole, through which the shaft post rotatably passes. A first resisting stub and a second resisting stub extend from the rotating member, to resist against the corresponding guiding surfaces. The shaft post is fixedly received in the fixing hole. When the rotating member is rotated relative to the shaft post, the first and second resisting stubs always resist against and move along the corresponding guiding surfaces, to urge the shaft post to relatively move in the adjusting hole.
