    摘要: A signal level correction circuit for a video signal includes a voltage control amplifier for amplifying a video signal received from a solid state image sensor with different gains for the respective chrominance signals, a first clamp circuit for setting a black level in the video signal received from the amplifier, a comparator for outputting a voltage proportional to the difference between a peak holding voltage of a capacitor in the horizontal blanking period of the video signal clamped by the first clamp circuit, and a reference voltage. An adder adds the output voltage from the comparator and the video signal from the first clamp circuit. A second clamp circuit resets the black level of the amplified video signal. A .gamma. correction circuit adjusts the .gamma. value of the video signal from the second clamp circuit. A clipping circuit clips the dynamic ranges between the white and black level of the .gamma. value corrected video signal. A third clamp circuit resets the black level of the video signal from the clipping circuit. An A/D converter converts the analog video signal into a digital signal.

    摘要: An electronic endoscope apparatus has an imaging unit separable from the distal end portion of an endoscope and is capable of easily handling and operating the separated imaging unit. In the apparatus, the imaging unit having an imaging device is arranged as a separate member so that the imaging unit can be separated from the distal end portion of the endoscope, and the imaging unit is held in the accommodating pocket of the endoscope by holding means such as, for example, an electromagnet or the like. Therefore, the imaging unit is separated from the distal end portion of the endoscope by turning off the electromagnet when the endoscope is inserted into a desired position of an observing subject and can carry out picking-up operation as an imaging unit independently of the endoscope. An electric signal is transmitted between an endoscope main body and the imaging unit as a radio wave through antennas. Observing means may be provided with the endoscope main body independently of the imaging unit and further a stereoscopic image may be formed by the imaging unit and the observing means. In addition, a wire can be disposed in the endoscope main body to hold the imaging unit in the accommodating unit as well as collect the separated imaging unit to the accommodating pocket. Moreover, when the wire is also used as a signal line, a signal transmission can be realized by a simple arrangement.

    摘要: A connector guide structure for electronic endoscope systems capable of efficiently eliminating high-frequency noises which are allowed by a connector guide functioning as an antenna to mix by way of sheath members and a console. The connector guide structure comprises a connector guide for connecting a connector disposed on an electronic endoscope to a main unit, and noise eliminating capacitors are connected between the connector guide and a console of the main unit. A capacitor for eliminating noises produced by a radio knife and a plurality of capacitors for eliminating noises produced by clock-frequency signals are used as the capacitors. Feet of the capacitors are directly connected within an interval of 4 mm to 20 mm which is reserved between the connector guide and the console. Accordingly, the connector guide structure is capable of favorably eliminating not only the noises produced by the radio knife but also the noises produced by providing clock-frequency signals.

    摘要: A shielding structure of an electronic endoscope apparatus which can sufficiently remove noise even when an electric cautery is used. A signal transmission cable which connects a charge coupled device disposed at the end portion of an electronic endoscope to a processor unit is electrically shielded by a double shield composed by an inner shield and an outer shield. The inner shield is connected to the ground in a light source connector and the outer shield is connected to the frame ground of the processor unit through a capacitor. The outer shield is further connected to a shielding member provided around the charge coupled device and a patient ground to which an electrode piece of an electric cautery is connected. Noise is greatly removed, so that the picture quality is improved.

It is possible to adopt both the new reading method and the conventional reading method. A rotary shutter is composed of, for example, a disk with a light passing portion for securing a light source path and a light shading portion formed on the outer peripheral portion, and a DC motor rotates and stops the rotary shutter. When the electronic endoscope apparatus to which the light source device is applied is of an all-pixels reading type, the rotation mode in which light is output during a predetermined light shading period at intervals of 1/30 sec is set. When the light source device is applied to a conventional electronic endoscope apparatus, for example, of a pixel mixture signal reading type system, the stop mode in which the illuminating light is not shaded is set. The reading system adopted by the electronic endoscope apparatus is judged by an ID discriminator, and the rotary shutter is stopped at a predetermined position by a stop controller in the stop mode.

High-precision exposure control can be achieved in a close-up by controlling the storage charge amount by the sweep control pulses and the like.

    摘要: A simultaneous electronic endoscope apparatus which is capable of preventing the deterioration of the picture quality due to the difference of the saturation property in mixture signals. The apparatus comprises a charge coupled device provided with a plurality of color filters. Upper and lower pixel signals are mixed in a charge coupled device so as to form mixture signals. When the saturated state of a mixture signal is detected, the gain of the mixture signal is multiplied by a preset coefficient so as to apparently cancel the saturated state. Alternatively two types of luminance signals may be formed by combining the plurality of mixture signals formed on each horizontal scanning line. When the saturated state of a luminance signal is detected, the gain of the luminance signal is amplified so that the level thereof is the same as that of the other luminance signal, thereby apparently cancelling the saturated state.
