摘要: An expansion valve for a refrigerant cycle has an orifice passage portion, a valve body, a spring member and a deformation portion. The orifice passage portion is configured for decompressing and expanding a high pressure refrigerant into a low pressure refrigerant. The valve body is disposed to open and close the orifice passage portion so that a flow rate of the low pressure refrigerant flowing into a low pressure passage portion is controlled in accordance with a valve opening degree. The spring member is disposed between the valve body and the deformation portion for applying a biasing force to the valve body. The deformation portion is plastically deformable in a direction parallel to an expansion and contraction direction of the spring member by applying an external force.

摘要: An expansion valve for reducing the quantity of material required for the valve body by contriving the arrangement of bolt fitting grooves. In the expansion valve (20), displacement of a valve member driver (36) provided in the valve body (21) is transmitted to a valve member by a valve member drive rod (36f) and the valve opening is altered to control the flow rate of the refrigerant. The valve body (21) consists of a body upper portion (40) and a body lower portion (41) narrower than the body upper portion (40), and bolt fitting grooves (43, 43) opening in the flank of the valve body (21), preferably opening obliquely downward, are formed at the boundary (42) of the body upper portion (40) and the body lower portion (41). With such a layout, the material required at the boundary (42) can be reduced furthermore and the quantity of material required for the valve body (21) can be reduced furthermore, as a result. Since the opening width (minimum spatial dimension) w is smaller than the diameter of bolt, a seating surface is assured sufficiently around the bolt fitting groove (43) and the bolt does not drop off from the bolt fitting groove (43).

摘要: An expansion valve for reducing the quantity of material required for the valve body by contriving the arrangement of bolt fitting grooves. 摘要: In an expansion valve, in a first passage through which a high pressure liquid refrigerant flows, an inlet port includes a large diameter passage portion formed from one side surface to the other side surface of a valve body, and a small diameter passage portion that provides communication between the large diameter passage portion on the bottom end thereof and a valve chamber. A coil spring provided in the valve chamber biases a valve member toward a valve hole. An O ring that seals between a plug that supports a lower end of the coil spring and the valve body is located below the small diameter passage portion and placed on the opposite side of the bottom end of the large diameter passage. Thus, the plug that closes an opening of the valve chamber can be mounted to an upper position, thereby reducing a vertical size of the valve body to further reduce a size of the valve body, and reducing an amount of use of metal materials for the valve body to reduce weight and cost.
