摘要: In a telephone having a presence function, it is possible to easily register a presence state. The telephone includes: presence detection means for detecting a presence state of a user; a presence state storage unit for storing the presence state detected by the presence detection means; and control means having a presence modification function for modifying the presence information stored in the presence state storage unit according to the user presence state detected by the presence detection means. When the presence detection means has detected a presence of a user, the control means modifies the presence information stored in the presence state storage unit to presence information indicating a presence. When the presence detection means has detected an absence of the user, the control means modifies the presence information stored in the presence state storage unit to presence information indicating an absence. The control means registers the presence information stored in the presence state storage unit in a presence server.

摘要: A communication device of the present invention is provided with an evacuation direction portion receiving an earthquake early warning, and outputting a text image or sound for an evacuation direction. If the earthquake early warning is received under circumstances where a time adjusting portion cannot assure the accuracy of time kept by a timekeeping portion, the evacuation direction portion gives an evacuation direction based on earthquake information unassociated with the time. The evacuation direction portion is provided with a plurality of kinds of evacuation direction images or sounds. The evacuation direction portion determines an image or sound to be used for the evacuation direction based on an expected time period before a main tremor arrives calculated by an earthquake information calculating portion. Moreover, an evacuation direction registering portion receiving from a user, selection of evacuation direction data that the evacuation direction portion uses is provided.

摘要: A communication device is provided in which, in case of a power failure caused by an earthquake, a slave unit can be used as an illumination device, which includes a high-visibility display portion, in which notification lamps to be lit or blinked can be selected by a user, and in which the color of an incoming lamp that is lit at the time of normal reception can be prevented from being similar to that at the time of reception of the earthquake early warning. When a predicted period up to the arrival of a primary shock is calculated, the lighting and extinguishing of backlights arranged behind a group of operation buttons is controlled, and any of digits from 0 to 9 is displayed on an input portion. The colors of the lit backlights are changed according to the value of a predicted seismic intensity, and the predicted period is displayed. The color of the incoming lamp lit when the earthquake early warning is received cannot be set at the color of the incoming lamp lit when normal reception is performed. The user can select the incoming lamps to be lit or blinked.

摘要: A communication apparatus comprises: a disaster information receiving section connected to a communication line for receiving disaster information therefrom; a microphone; a speech recognizing section for recognizing speeches input from the microphone; a communication section; and a control section. When the disaster information receiving section receives disaster information from the communication line, the speech recognizing section starts recognizing speeches from the microphone. When the speech recognizing section recognizes the presence of the speeches from the microphone, the control section controls the communication section to make a call to a predetermined destination of communication.

摘要: A communication device of the present invention includes: a communication section; an earthquake information calculation section for receiving an earthquake early warning by using the communication section; a control section for forcibly disconnecting a telephone line if the earthquake early warning has been received while the telephone line is connected; and a disconnection reason notification section for transmitting, if the telephone line has been forcibly disconnected due to the reception of the earthquake early warning, disconnection reason information, which indicates a disconnection reason, to a communication counterpart previously participating in a phone call with the communication device. The disconnection reason notification section refers to association information in which telephone numbers and e-mail addresses are associated with each other and thereby obtains an e-mail address associated with a telephone number for which the forcible disconnection has been performed. The disconnection reason notification section generates and transmits an e-mail that contains the disconnection reason to the obtained e-mail address.
