    摘要: A developing device for an image forming apparatus includes a developer carrier such as a developing sleeve having a magnetic field generating device therein which carries and conveys a developer containing toner and magnetic carrier particles. The developing device also includes a first regulating member such as a blade which regulates the developer being carried and conveyed by the developer carrier, and a developer storing section stores developer scraped off the developer carrier by the first regulating member. The developer storing section includes a second regulating member arranged upstream of the first regulating member with respect to a direction in which the developer carrier conveys the developer. The developing device further includes a toner storing section provided adjacent to the developer storing section to supply toner to the developer carrier. A contact condition of the developer carried on the developer carrier with the toner supplied to the developer carrier from the toner storing section is varied in accordance with variation of a toner density in the developer carried on the developer carrier to thereby vary a condition of the developer on the developer carrier to attract the toner. The second regulating member is spaced from the developer carrier such that when a thickness of a layer of the developer on the developer carrier increases due to an increase of the toner density in the developer on the developer carrier, the second regulating member regulates an increased amount of the developer being carried and conveyed by the developer carrier. The magnetic fields, toner speeds, and distances of the regulating members to the developer carrier satisfy predetermined conditions in different embodiments.

The developing apparatus changes a toner take-in condition of the developer on the developer bearing member by changing a contact condition between the developer and the toner according to a change of a toner density of the developer on the developer bearing member. A surface of the second regulating member facing the developer bearing member has an area large enough to unify a layer thickness of the developer on the image bearing member in the axial direction of the developer bearing member.

The flexible member rotates to cyclically transfer toner to the carrying member via the opening. The stopper locates the flexible member at a closed position where the opening is closed. The flexible member is initially located at the closed position and releases the opening when the development agent is present on a surface of the carrying member facing the opening. A method of image forming is provided that includes sealing the opening by engaging the flexible member with the stopper, filling the toner container, supplying a development agent to the carrying member at a surface of the development agent facing the opening, and releasing the opening to start supplying the toner to the carrying member through the opening by rotation of the flexible member.

    摘要: A developing device includes a developer bearing member including an internal magnetic field generating device and configured such that a surface thereof moves to carry and convey a developer including toner and carrier. A developer regulating member regulates a quantity of the developer carried and conveyed by the developer bearing member toward a developing area, and a developer accommodating unit accommodates the developer regulated to be conveyed toward the developing area by the developer regulating member. A toner accommodating unit includes a toner supplying opening opposing a surface of the developer bearing surface of the developer bearing member at a position adjacent to and upstream of the developer accommodating unit in a developer conveying direction. The toner in the toner accommodating unit is taken into the developer on the developer bearing member based on a toner density of the developer on the developer bearing member by a movement of the developer with a conveyance of the developer on the developer bearing member. The developing device further includes a peeling off member that opposes, without contacting, a surface of the developer bearing member in the developer accommodating unit so as to peel off an upper layer part of the developer carried and conveyed by the developer bearing member.

    摘要: A high-strength hydraulic cement composition contains cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, water and a specified admixture and has a unit amount of water in the range of 120-185 kg/m3. Water and the cement are contained at a ratio of 20-40% and the admixture is contained in the amount of 0.1-3.0 weight parts per 100 weight parts of the cement. The admixture is one or more selected from reaction mixtures obtained by specified two processes and partially or completely neutralized substances obtained from such a reaction mixture through these two processes and also a specified third process.
