摘要: An information processing unit of the present invention includes: a housing that incorporates an information processor; a handle arranged on one side surface of the housing; and support members that are arranged on the one side surface of the housing to protrude and support the handle. The support members respectively are arranged continuously from the one side surface to a pair of other side surfaces adjacent to the one side surface in a direction in which the handle is bridged. Each of the support members has a bent portion between the one side surface and each of the other side surfaces. Thus, a stress applied between the first housing and a handle mechanism when, for example, a user carries a notebook PC holding a handle can be dispersed, so that the handle can be fixed to the first housing with improved strength.

摘要: In a grip device of the present invention, shielding members are placed in the openings of a handle in which arm members are to be arranged, respectively. This can make it difficult for a foreign matter to enter the handle via the openings. The presence of the shielding members can prevent a foreign matter from being caught between the handle and each of the arm members when the handle is moved from the extended position to the retracted position, resulting in a smooth movement of the handle.

摘要: A cover opening/closing device of the present invention is formed so that a height of a rib to be in contact with a sealing member asymptotically decreases from a shaft toward an edge of a cover opposite to the shaft. With this configuration, the cover can be closed with only a small load imposed on the cover, whereby the operability in the opening/closing of the cover can be improved. Further, air-tightness of a recessed part provided with a disk drive sealed by the cover can be ensured.

摘要: A drainage structure of the present invention includes a drainage groove, a drain, and a groove portion. Thus, even in the case where a user accidentally spills a liquid such as water on an upper face of a first housing, intrusion of the liquid into a disk drive can be prevented, and damage to the disk drive can be prevented. Moreover, the drain is connected to the groove portion. Thus, a liquid that drains from the drain can be collected in the groove portion. Accordingly, the liquid can be prevented from spreading over a wide area, and adhesion of the liquid to various types of electric components disposed in a back face of the first housing can be prevented.
