摘要： A command conversion device 14 is connected between an amplifier device 11 and a portable player 13. The amplifier device 11 sends/receives a plurality of types of first commands corresponding to a plurality of types of devices (e.g., CD players, MD recorders, tape recorders, etc.), and performs an operation based on a received first command. The portable player 13 sends/receives a second command, and performs an operation based on a received second command. The command conversion device 14 includes a selector for selecting a type of a first command, and a converter. When a first command of the type selected by the selector is received from the amplifier device 11, the converter converts the received first command into a second command, and sends the second command to the portable player 13.

The starter D for a vehicle-use engine which transmits a rotational drive force of a stator to a ring gear of a crankshaft by a pinion of the starter includes: a one-way clutch which is arranged between the pinion and an armature shaft of the stator; and a rotational speed detection device which detects a rotational speed of the pinion. A part to be detected for a rotational speed is formed of through holes formed on a circumference of the clutch cover, and a circular circumferential groove formed on an outer peripheral surface of a clutch outer along the circumference on which the through holes are formed.

摘要： A printer including a recording head, a flushing box and a movement mechanism is disclosed. The recording head has a nozzle-forming surface in which nozzle openings are defined and ejects a liquid through the nozzle openings. The flushing box has an opening corresponding to the nozzle openings and is capable of receiving the liquid ejected from the nozzle opening as a waste liquid. The movement mechanism moves the flushing box between a receiving position at which the flushing box is capable of receiving the waste liquid and a non-receiving position at which the flushing box is incapable of receiving the waste liquid. The receiving position is a position at which the opening is closely opposed to the nozzle-forming surface, and the non-receiving position is spaced from the receiving position.
