    摘要: A digital data recording control system reads music data from a CD and records (i.e., copies) the music data onto an SD card. The CD also stores an ISRC that specifies the content of the CD, that is, the music data present on the CD. The digital data recording control system includes: a recording number information storage unit for associating the ISRC with a number of times the music data has been recorded onto an SD card; a limit information storage unit for storing information showing a limit on a number of times the music data is permitted to be recorded; and a record judging unit for: (1) having a digital data reading unit read the ISRC from the CD and, if a number of times associated with the read ISRC is lower than the limit, read the music data from the CD; and (2) having a recording unit convert the read music data into an MP3 format and record the converted music data onto the SD card.

The human state estimating device includes: a storage unit (16) which stores reference data (17) in which a human state and a reference profile including a horizontal component of a standard microsaccade in the human state are corresponded to each other, for each of plural personal attribute information; a video obtaining unit (11) which obtains video of a user's eyeball, with an eyeball rotation angle accuracy of 0.05 degrees or higher, and a measuring speed of 120 samples per second or higher; an analyzing unit (12) which generates an actual-measurement profile including the horizontal component of the microsaccade, from fixational eye movement shown in the video; a personal attribute information obtaining unit (13) which obtains the user's personal attribute information; and an analyzing unit which estimates the human state by searching, in the reference data (17), for a reference profile that corresponds to the obtained personal attribute information and is closest to the actual-measurement profile.

    摘要: The translator of the present invention includes the following units. A unit for analyzing semantic structure of a received source language sentence through a morphological and syntactic analyses, a unit for transforming the semantic structure of the source language sentence into that of the target language by determining target language words equivalent to individual words composing the source language sentence while, in case of need, supplementing a word to conform to the grammar of the target language, and a unit for generating a target language sentence by rearranging the determined words in conformance with the semantic structure of the target language. The translator further includes a unit for holding various display modes applied to a word supplemented in order to display it distinguishable from the other words composing the target language sentence.

    摘要: A text generation apparatus which generates a text including character rows which are separated by blank characters. These character rows are stored in a text storage unit and displayed by a display unit. The text generation unit includes a conversion position specification unit which specifies a conversion position in the text and a conversion mode determination unit which automatically determines insertion mode or replacement mode, according to whether the conversion position is a character or a blank character. The stored text can then be converted by inserting a character row inputted from an input unit or by replacing an existing character row with a character row inputted from an input unit in the specified position in the text, according to the appropriate conversion mode.
