摘要： A processing and user interface system supports Internet application and web page navigation for sequential task oriented processes, workflow management and user specific, customizable, interactive and other organizable processes. A network (Internet, Intranet or other network) compatible user interface system supports a process including a sequence of subtasks. The system initiates display of a composite window representing a plurality of overlaid tabbed web page (or application) windows each including a visible tab incorporating an identifier identifying a function provided by a web page or application window associated with a particular subtask of the sequence of subtasks. The visible tabs and corresponding overlaid tabbed windows are sequentially ordered in accordance with the sequence of subtasks. The system initiates display of a subtask web page or application window in the foreground of the composite window in response to user selection of a visible tab corresponding to the subtask web page or application window.

摘要： A medical information system processes information from multiple sources suitable for access by healthcare personnel for use in clinical (e.g., critical) care delivery. The system includes a communication interface for receiving information from patient monitoring devices and for bidirectionally communicating with a hospital information database containing patient records. The system also includes a data processor using the communication interface for acquiring patient record information from the hospital information database and for acquiring information from patient monitoring devices. The data processor updates the acquired patient record information based on the acquired information from the patient monitoring devices and communicates updated patient record information to the hospital information database, A display processor initiates display of the updated patient record information to a user. The data processor may also include a data analysis unit for analyzing stored patient parameters by correlating stored parameters, patient record information, corresponding medical outcomes and medication database information to identify alternative medication options and improve decision processing. The data processor combines acquired medical parameter information and an acquired patient medical image to provide a composite image for display and storage.

摘要： Data sequences comprised of figure-coded units, such as text comprised of ASCII characters, are encoded into another data entity, such as a pixel based image. The encoding implements a positionally-based encoding scheme in which values of the data entity (basic matrix) upon which the data sequences are to be encoded is used. The position for values to be changed in the basic matrix are determined by a reversible function, and the encoding value that these values are changed by may be 1, another arbitrary number, or determined by a formula. The counterpart to the reversible function is known by an intended receiver of the encoded data for decoding purposes. The basic matrix may be generated utilizing a suitably complex function, such as a chaos function, with parameters known only to the sender and receiver.
