摘要： A circuit breaker for interrupting an electrical circuit when current limit values and/or current/time period limit values are exceeded has an energy transducer, the primary side of which is connected to the electrical circuit and the secondary side of which provides a power supply for at least one control unit of the circuit breaker. A first rectifier circuit and a second rectifier circuit are connected to the secondary-side output of the energy transducer. The first rectifier circuit is connected to the secondary-side output of the energy transducer via a capacitor.
