摘要: A load protection and control apparatus (1) for protecting and controlling an electrical load connected to the load protection and control apparatus (1) comprising an overcurrent protection circuit (1A) having a power switch (5) through which the electrical load receives an electrical load current (IL) and having a sensor component (4) connected in series with the power switch (5) and adapted to generate directly a voltage drop (ΔU4) corresponding to the current rise speed of the electrical load current (IL) flowing from an input terminal (2) of the load protection and control apparatus (1) via the sensor component (4) and the power switch (5) to the output terminal (3) and having a driver circuit (6) adapted to detect an occurring overcurrent depending on the voltage drop (ΔU4) generated by the sensor component (4) and/or depending on a voltage drop (ΔU5) along the power switch (5) and adapted to switch off said power switch (5) upon detection of an overcurrent within a switch-off period of less than one millisecond; and/or comprising a power supply control circuit (10) having a sensor component (9) adapted to measure at the input terminal (2) a supply voltage (U) notified to a control unit (8) of the load protection and control apparatus (1) adapted to control an electrical power supplied to the electrical load, wherein each input terminal (2) is configured to establish an electrical connection with a busbar (14) of a busbar system or with a current carrying wire.

a power supply control circuit (10) having a sensor component (9) adapted to measure at the input terminal (2) a supply voltage notified to a control unit (8) of the motor control apparatus (1) adapted to control an electrical power supplied to the electrical motor (M) depending on an operation mode of the electrical motor (M).-

摘要: An apparatus for switching and/or protection of a load connected to said apparatus, said apparatus (1) comprising: a power switch (5) through which the connected load receives an electrical current; a sensor component (4) connected in series with said power switch (5) and adapted to generate directly an electrical voltage drop corresponding to a current rise speed of the electrical current flowing via the sensor component (4) and via the power switch (5) to said load; and a driver circuit (6) adapted to detect an occurring overcurrent depending on a voltage drop generated by said sensor component (4) with or without a voltage drop along the power switch (5) and to switch off said power switch (5) upon detection of an overcurrent within a switch-off period to protect said power switch (5) and said load.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a rack power distribution unit (RPDU) that automatically and safely switches power to one or more receptacles. The RPDU includes one or more processors utilizing control algorithms that manage bistable relays so that in-rush current is minimized upon manual connection/disconnection of power to a load device. In particular, relay contact status (open/closed) is identified based on changes in RMS or peak voltage influenced by the load impedance. The RPDU is also configured to predict timings for voltage zero-crossing events. In this manner, and based on the determination of relay contact status and voltage zero-crossing prediction, open relay contacts are identified and safely closed at voltage zero-crossing.

摘要: An arc detection system includes an obtainer and a determiner. The obtainer obtains a measurement result for current flowing in a power supply line to which power is supplied from a DC power source. The determiner determines, based on a component of a specific frequency band in the measurement result for the current obtained by the obtainer, whether an arc fault has occurred. The determiner determines that the arc fault has occurred when a specific time for which the component of the specific frequency band is at least a threshold is longer than an occurrence time in which an arc can occur when a device is attached to or detached from the power supply line.
