Abstract: A hearing instrument has a hearing device rear housing, at least one microphone, a receiver, an earpiece connection or a soundc tube, an earpiece, a power supply unit, and a signal processing unit. The power supply unit includes a rechargeable power supply and an actuating and control device. The hearing instrument further includes a switching device that is configured to assume at least two switching states, and the actuating and control device is configured to actuate a switched-off state of the hearing instrument depending on the switching state of the switching device. There is also described a corresponding power supply unit for a hearing instrument.

Abstract: An elastic damping element provides a vibration-damping mounting of a receiver inside a hearing instrument. The damping element contains a hollow base body, from the inner surface of which a plurality of retaining projections project, and each retaining projection has at its distal end a contact surface for the receiver that will be mounted there. A recess, which is formed in an outer surface of the base body in alignment with the associated retaining projection in order to achieve a reduced material thickness, corresponds with at least one of the retaining projections.

Abstract: A hearing device has a microphone for detecting an acoustic signal from the environment of the hearing device, and a housing in which the microphone is arranged. The housing is formed with a microphone opening through which the microphone communicates with the environment of the hearing device for detecting the acoustic signal. The hearing device further has a damping element, by way of which the microphone is supported against the housing. Moreover, the hearing device has a barrier element for sealing the microphone opening against moisture in a sound-transmitting manner. The damping element has a pocket in which the barrier element is received reversibly. Furthermore, the barrier element is sealed off from the housing by way of the damping element all around the microphone opening.
