    摘要: A hearing aid adapted for being worn by a user comprises at least two microphones, providing respective at least two electric input signals representing sound; a filter bank converting the at least two electric input signals into signals as a function of time and frequency; a directional system connected to said at least two microphones and being configured to provide a filtered signal in dependence of said at least two electric input signals and fixed or adaptively updated beamformer weights. At least one direction to a target sound source is defined as a target direction. For each frequency band, one of said at least two microphones is selected as a reference microphone, thereby providing a reference input signal for each frequency band. The reference microphone for a given frequency band may be selected in dependence of directional data related to directional characteristics of the at least two microphones.

The receiver housing defines a circuitous receiver acoustic channel, wherein the receiver channel defines an open side along at least a portion of the receiver channel.     摘要: An earpiece includes an electro-acoustic transducer and a housing that supports the electro-acoustic transducer such that the housing and the electro-acoustic transducer together define a first acoustic volume and a second acoustic volume. A mesh is disposed along an outlet of the housing and is arranged to inhibit debris from entering the front acoustic volume. A first microphone is supported in the housing. The first microphone includes a microphone port for sensing pressure. A chimney surrounds the microphone port and mechanically couples the first microphone to the mesh.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for audio synchronization for hearing devices. An audio packet is received from a host device at a first hearing device configured to be worn in a first ear of a wearer, the audio packet compatible with a wireless low energy digital communication protocol, and the audio packet is received from the host device at a second hearing device configured to be worn in a second ear of the wearer. Upon one or more programmable conditions, a synchronization packet is sent from the first hearing device to the second hearing device. An acknowledgment packet is sent from the second hearing device to the first hearing device upon receipt of the synchronization packet, and a first transducer at the first hearing device and a second transducer at the second hearing device are unmuted to deliver synchronized audio to the first ear and to the second ear.

    摘要: A binaural hearing system comprises first and second hearing aids, each comprising antenna and transceiver circuitry allowing the exchange of audio signals between them and a BTE-part adapted for being located at or behind the external ear (pinna) of the user and comprising front and rear input transducers providing respective front and rear electric input signals. Each of the hearing aids comprises primary and secondary adaptive 2-channel beamformers each providing a spatially filtered signal based on first and second beamformer-input signals. The primary and secondary 2-channel beamformers are coupled in a cascaded structure. The inputs to the primary 2-channel beamformers are, locally generated, front and rear electric input signals. The inputs to the secondary 2-channel beamformer may be beamformed signals from the first and second hearing aids respectively. The spatially filtered signal of the secondary 2-channel beamformer may comprise an estimate of a target signal in the environment of the user.
