Abstract: A handle and a tool housing that includes features that matingly engage or receive portions of the handle. The handle is adapted to couple onto an exterior surface of the tool housing, and minimize damage caused to the tool when the tool is dropped with the handle attached. In an example, the handle includes a shaft and first and second clamping portions, where each of the first and second clamping portions includes a protrusion that engages a pocket or groove on the tool housing. The shaft extends through the first clamping portion and threads into the second clamping portion, and as the shaft is threaded into the second clamping portion the first and second clamping portions are moved closer together and clamp onto the tool housing.
