Abstract:
Provided is a method of mounting at least one hearing device component (14) inside a hearing device shell (12). Said method comprises the steps of threading a fixture means (16) through a hole (18) formed in the wall of the hearing device shell (12) and attaching the hearing device component (14) to the end of the portion of the fixture means (16) protruding into the inside of the hearing device shell (12). The method further comprises manipulating the portion of the fixture means (16) protruding to the outside of the hearing device shell (12) such to position the hearing device component (14) in a predetermined position, and fixing the positioned hearing device component (14) to the inner wall of the hearing device shell (12).
Abstract:
A hearing device to be worn at least partially within an ear canal includes a microphone, an electronics unit, a receiver and a rechargeable battery, which are contained in a housing formed by a shell to which a face plate is attached. The face plate features a docking connector for engaging with a battery charger, whereby the docking connector projects outwardly from the face plate. Furthermore, a battery charger featuring a docking port adapted to engage with the docking connector of the hearing device is given.
Abstract:
A hearing device to be worn in or at the ear of a user. The hearing device includes a housing for accommodating an electronic component, wherein the housing includes an electromagnetic wave shielding material and is formed with an indentation. The indentation provides a space at the outer side of the housing, allowing an antenna to be inserted into the indentation. The proposed hearing device achieves improved shielding of the antenna against electromagnetic waves radiated from at least one of the electronic components.

Abstract:
A module of a hearing device is removably connectable with a housing of the hearing device, the module being prepared for insertion of a removal tool. The module includes at least two side walls opposing each other. The side walls are provided with a first engagement means, and the side walls are deformable such to allow engagement of the first engagement means and a second engagement means formed on an anchoring portion of the removal tool.
