Abstract: The present technology relates to an information processing device and method, and a program which enable a photographing position and a photographing attitude to be inferred under a more lenient condition.A position/attitude calculation unit calculates a photographing position and a photographing attitude of a captured image to be processed relative to a known photographing position and photographing attitude of one captured image in a reference space on the basis of two captured images having five or more feature points that correspond to each other. In addition, the position/attitude calculation unit calculates a photographing position and a photographing attitude of the captured image to be processed in the reference space on the basis of a position of a subject in the reference space corresponding to a common feature point in the two captured images and another captured image of which a photographing position and a photographing attitude are known and the photographing position and the photographing attitude of the captured image to be processed relative to the photographing position and the photographing attitude of the one captured image. The present technology can be applied to smartphones.

Abstract: A data processing unit of an information processing apparatus 50 calculates the position and the attitude in a three-dimensional space of a calibration board 60 in a captured image of a prescribed imaging device among imaging devices 20-1 to 20-7, and calculates the position and the attitude of the calibration board 60 in a captured image acquired by another imaging device different from the prescribed imaging device on the basis of the calculated position and attitude in the three-dimensional space. The data processing unit presents the imaging situation of a moving calibration board for each imaging device by means of display units of the information processing apparatus 50 and the imaging devices 20-1 to 20-7. By performing imaging using the imaging situation, a situation where the movement and the change in the inclination of the calibration board 60 are small and it is necessity to re-image the calibration board 60 can be prevented, and high-accuracy calibration processing can be performed with good efficiency.

The device processes the input image frame such that the object is at a specific position on an output image frame when the view point position moves within the time range indicated by the time information and the view point position movement range indicated by the view point position information.

In a case where the feature points include a feature point at a distance equal to or longer than a predetermined threshold value from the regression curve, the setting unit redetermines the regression curve after removing a feature point detected from an image including a feature point having a low score among the feature points. The present technology can be applied to information processing devices that process still images and moving images.
