The display module is provided with a flexible sheet-shaped display unit, a switch unit which switches a display pattern of the display unit, and a control unit which controls a display pattern of the display unit on the basis of a switch control signal from the switch unit. The display unit is electrically connected to the control unit, and the control unit is electrically connected to the switch unit by using a wiring cable. The present technology is applicable to, for example, a bag and the like a display pattern of which may be changed.
