摘要： LDPC coding is executed using a check matrix of an LDPC code whose code length is 736 bits and whose code rate is 1/4, and modulation is executed using a repetition unit that has an LDPC code obtained by the LDPC coding, repeatedly arranged therein. The LDPC code includes information bits and parity bits, the check matrix includes an information matrix portion corresponding to the information bits and a parity matrix portion corresponding to the parity bits, the parity matrix portion has a stepwise structure, the information matrix portion is indicated by a check matrix initial value table, and the check matrix initial value table is a predetermined table indicating positions of elements of “1” of the information matrix portion for each eight columns. This technique is applicable to, for example, information transmission using the LDPC code.

In one example, transmission signals are generated by performing chirp modulation on data to be transmitted, and the transmission signals are multiplexed by shifting transmission timings of a plurality of transmission signals in a time direction and transmitting the transmission signals. Further, a plurality of chirp-modulated transmission signals which are multiplexed by shifting the transmission timing in the time direction and transmitted from a transmission side are received, and the plurality of received transmission signals are dechirped at timings according to the transmission timings.

摘要： An analog signal is accurately converted into a digital signal. An oscillator generates an oscillation signal having a cycle that depends on a signal level of an input analog signal. A current bit generation unit generates, as a current bit, a bit indicating a value of the oscillation signal at each of a plurality of timings within the cycle. A delay unit delays each current bit over a predetermined period and supplies the delayed current bit as a delayed bit. A determination unit determines whether a change amount of a phase of the oscillation signal changed within the predetermined period is greater than a half cycle of the cycle. An output unit generates and outputs data indicating a period in which respective values of the current bit and the delayed bit form a specific combination when the change amount is not greater than the half cycle, and generates and outputs data indicating a period in which the respective values of the current bit and the delayed bit are the same or form the specific combination when the change amount is greater than the half cycle.
