Abstract: A system information message is received by a wireless device. The system information message was broadcast from a first access node using a first frequency band. Cell loading information is extracted from the system information message. Based on the cell loading information, it is determined whether to connect the wireless device to the first access node using the first frequency band, or to a second access node using a second frequency band. The second access node is also broadcasting system information messages that include cell loading information.
