    摘要: Automatic generation of a timed delay for a timing clock signal input to an electronic device having a time critical circuit receiving address, data, and control signals at a first time interval and performing data storage and data output operations at subsequent second time intervals as determined by the timing clock signal input thereto. The time delay is generated by combination of a first control device for determining a timing condition of the time critical circuit in accordance with data output results corresponding to a first data storage operation performed by the time critical circuit; and, a second control circuit for automatically adjusting the input of the timing clock signal in time with respect to the first time interval in accordance with the data output results. Adjustment of the timing clock signal delay for subsequent data storage operations optimizes time critical circuit performance for the electronic device.

    摘要: Grinding wheels are fabricated with outwardly extending circular peripheral rims having a continuous rim surface to which separate abrasive pieces, preferably of a super abrasive such as CBN, are secured by suitable adhesive. The superabrasive pieces are preferably circular and of a diameter corresponding to the width of the rim and are secured to the rim surface so as to either be adjacent and touch one another or to be spaced one from the other around the circle of the rim surface so that a predetermined amount but not all of the rim surface is covered with abrasive pieces. That rim surface coverage optimize grinding efficiency while providing space for fluid flow for purposes of cooling and carrying away particles from the grinding process.

    摘要: The present invention provides a system and method for processing a High Definition Television (HDTV) image. Specifically, the system and method of the present invention provides a plurality of programmable encoders connected in parallel and directly (i.e., gluelessly) attached to a HDTV video source. The system and method of the present invention allows a fall HDTV image to be received by each encoder at 74.25 MHz directly from the HDTV video source. Based on programming, each encoder will process only a portion of the full image.

    摘要: Method, system and computer program product are provided for adaptively encoding in hardware, software or a combination thereof a sequence of video frames in real-time. A first encoding subsystem is employed to analyze the sequence of video frames to derive information on at least one characteristic thereof, such as motion statistics, non-motion statistics, scene change statistics, or scene fade statistics. The gathered information may comprise either an intraframe characteristic or an interframe characteristic. A second encoding subsystem, coupled to the first encoding subsystem, encodes the sequence of video frames employing at least one controllable parameter. The second encoding subsystem dynamically adapts intraframe or interframe encoding of the sequence of video frames by adjusting the at least one controllable parameter used in the encoding process in response to the derived information from the first encoding subsystem.

    摘要: A technique is provided for programmably horizontally filtering pixel values of frames of a plurality of video frames. The technique includes, in one embodiment, passing pixel values through a real-time horizontal filter disposed as preprocessing logic of a video encode system. The horizontal filter is programmable and includes a filter coefficients buffer for holding multiple sets of filter coefficients. The horizontal filter programmably employs the multiple sets of filter coefficients to selectively perform spatial noise filtering, or spatial noise filtering and image scaling on the pixels. The filter coefficients are also programmable and may be changed dynamically and repeatedly, with changes being applied at frame boundaries. When performing image scaling, multiple sets of filter coefficients are employed.
