摘要: A clip for mounting a fluid delivery device adjacent a wall of an enclosure is disclosed. In one embodiment, the device includes a base, a hook configured to support the base adjacent the wall, means for attaching a fluid delivery device to the base, and means for rotating the base. Additionally, a method for attaching a clip for mounting a fluid delivery device adjacent a toilet bowl is disclosed. The method includes securing a hook to a rim, engaging a tab of a base to an underside of the rim at an interface, and rotating the base in response to the interface to substantially engage the tab of the base with the underside of the rim.

摘要: A rotary sprayer and method for spraying an inner surface of an enclosure, such as a toilet bowl, with a fluid are disclosed. The rotary sprayer includes a clip and a rotating nozzle. The clip includes a fluid inlet and an arm having a distal end section. The nozzle includes a circular deflection plate, and a pair of spaced apart walls extending away from a surface of the deflection plate. The walls define a channel on the surface of the deflection plate. A passageway is in fluid communication with the channel and an end space between the walls. The fluid inlet is positioned in the end space and a spindle of the nozzle is mounted to the distal end section of the arm. Fluid exiting the fluid inlet flows through the passageway and the channel and contacts an inner surface of at least one of the walls to rotate the nozzle and spray the inner surface wall of the enclosure with the fluid.

摘要: Handheld portable devices for dislodging and capturing particulate matter that has accumulated on various surfaces or structures are provided. The devices create opposing airflows that can intimately interface with each other during use. A vacuum airflow is drawn into the device, defining a vacuum affected zone upon the surface being cleaned. A high pressure airflow is emitted that penetrates through or passes adjacent to the opposing vacuum airflow and contacts the surface being cleaned, dislodging particulate matter therefrom. The high pressure airflow can be emitted from multiple nozzles as a series of airflow bursts that discretely contact the surface being cleaned. The configuration of each nozzle, as well as the overall arrangement and positions of all the nozzles together, are selected to impart the desired particulate matter dislodging characteristics to the device.

摘要: This invention is a method to extract energy from a pressurized gas in the case that the gas may be unsuitable for use in a gas turbine. The system is a gas powered liquid pump. The system expands the gas against a liquid such as water and the water then flows through a series of liquid turbines to generate power. As the gas expands the pressure decreases. The water is initially directed to a turbine designed to work efficiently with high-pressure water, and then the water is redirected to another turbine which is designed to work efficiently with lower pressure water. As the pressure of the gas and the water decreases, the turbine which most efficient for extracting the energy at a given pressure is used to extract the energy from the stream of pressurized water

摘要: A pulsed supersonic jet excavator uses a short duration blast of air to excavate using a minimum amount of air and a minimum reaction force. This device uses a fast acting valve to create a jet of air that lasts about as long as it takes to develop. The result is a device that works much more efficiently than existing air jet excavators. This device can be mounted on a small robot and allow it to dig, whereas a normal backhoe type excavator would just lift the robot when attempting to dig in packed earth.
