    Abstract: A liquid diffuser device includes a frame provided with a nozzle for generating a liquid jet; a deflector assembly having a deflector plate with an upper face facing the nozzle and a lower face with a shank extending therefrom; and a containment member associated with the frame and having a peripheral annular collar, a stem, and a rotatable support on a bottom wall of a cavity. The shank of the deflector assembly rests against the rotatable support, the deflector plate being spaced from the annular collar to enable the free rotation of the deflector assembly. A protection member joined to the deflector plate is configured to occlude the space between the lower face of the plate and the annular collar of the containment member and to enclose the containment member, the rotatable support and all moving parts of the deflector assembly, preventing the entry of liquids, solids and debris.

    Abstract: A sprinkler assembly with a nutating distribution plate that tilts and/or rotates upon water impinging the distribution plate. A deflector assembly includes the distribution plate and a base. A body of the sprinkler assembly includes a base retainer surface and a flanged bolt which combine to create a portion of a confinement structure. A portion of the deflector assembly is located within the confinement structure to limit a range of movement of the distribution plate. A nozzle subassembly includes a nozzle and retainer supporting a seal. The nozzle alone or in combination with the retainer can be removed from the sprinkler assembly. The sprinkler assembly can be disassembled and reassembled with minimal tools and effort for servicing. The distribution plate and the base can have mass properties optimized to improve sprinkler performance by reducing vibration, improving uniform water distribution, and reducing fine water droplet generation upon water stream impingement on the distribution plate.

    Abstract: A liquid-emitting device for gravity-based irrigation systems includes a support structure that defines a first axis and has a nozzle for generating an irrigation jet coaxial with the first axis, a tubular body below the support structure, and a baffle plate facing the nozzle and rotatably mounted in the tubular body to rotate about a second axis. The nozzle is stationary and the second axis is free to rotate about the first axis with a precessional motion. Guides are removably coupled to the tubular body to interact with the baffle plate and prevent the precessional motion while allowing the rotational motion about the second axis. A diverting member may be removably positioned downstream from the nozzle to distribute the liquid over an area of the soil. An arrangement of a nutating liquid-emitting device in combination with an anti-nutating adaptation kit is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A sprinkler device for delivering an irrigation liquid for gravity-based pivot or linear irrigation systems includes a support structure having a first portion with a nozzle defining a longitudinal axis for generating a jet of liquid, and a second portion with a baffle plate pivoted thereto and facing the nozzle.     Abstract: A rotational speed control device maintains a shaft rotation speed. The device includes a housing containing a viscous fluid and a shaft disposed in the housing and rotatable relative to the housing. A rotor is coupled with the shaft for rotation in the viscous fluid. The rotor is axially displaceable along the shaft between a low-shear position and a high-shear position. A spring mechanism is disposed in the housing and biases the rotor toward the low-shear position. The rotor may be designed to cooperate with the housing or other nonrotating features within the housing to vary a shear gap according to the axial position of the rotor. The rotor, housing and spring mechanism can be designed to cooperate to create large changes in braking torque in response to small changes in shaft rotational speed. This allows the rotation speed to be controlled within a relatively narrow range.

    Abstract: A device for distributing a fermented liquid uniformly over a fermented cap includes a joint member, an impeller, a shaft and a flow conditioner. The joint member has a top opening, a bottom opening, a side opening, a through-opening extending from the top opening to the bottom opening and a side-through-opening extending from the side opening to the through-opening. The impeller includes a one-piece conical shaped body that has a central-through-opening. The shaft extends through the through-opening of the joint member and through the central-through-opening of the impeller. The flow conditioner extends from the bottom of the joint member and surrounds the shaft. The bottom of the flow conditioner is shaped to match the shape of the fermentation tank.
