    摘要: An audio signal is sampled and a frequency transform is performed on a succession of sets of samples of the signal to obtain a time dependent power spectrum for the audio signal. Frequency components output by the frequency transform are collected in frequency bands. More than one running average is taken of each semitone frequency band. When the values of two running averages of the same semitone frequency band cross, time information is recorded. Information about average crossing events that have occurred at different times in a set of adjacent semitone frequency bands is combined to form a key. A set of keys obtained from a song provides a means for identifying the song and is stored in a database for use in identifying songs.

    摘要: A depth stop for use with a drill bit comprises a tubular body having an opening therethrough. Used with a drill bit whose bit portion includes a cutting end, and a shank portion, the depth stop is frictionally positionable on the bit portion at a specified point from the cutting end, thereby indicating a specified depth. Depth stops are manufactured in different colors, each color corresponding to a specified range of drill bits that the depth stops will fit. The depth stops, manufactured from a sterilizable material, are intended for single use. The depth stop can be used with a drill bit and drill extender, where one or more depth stops provide multiple visual points of reference for the operator. The depth stops can be quickly mounted onto most any manufacturer's drill bits.

    摘要: A coalescer media flexible container for retaining coalescer media in the coalescer chamber of an oil-water separator is provided having a flexible enclosure and a randomly arranged, loosely packed coalescing medium. The flexible container has a top surface connected to a bottom surface. The flexible enclosure conforms to the shape of the coalescer chamber in which the flexible enclosure is placed. The flexible enclosure has an interior, with the flexible enclosure fabricated so as to permit liquids to easily pass into the interior of the flexible enclosure where the randomly arranged, loosely packed coalescing medium is retained. The flexible enclosure is preferably fabricated from a group of materials including plastic mesh, reinforced aerated plastic bags, wire mesh, fabric mesh, and netting. Furthermore, in at least one embodiment of the invention, a planar sheetform member is located in the interior of the flexible enclosure directly adjacent the bottom surface. Preferably each flexible enclosure includes a pair of retrieval means. A method of use is also disclosed.
