Abstract: A cam lock connected with a fence assembly includes a handle portion, a top carrier and a bottom carrier connected by a threaded shaft. The handle portion and top carrier are positioned above the fence assembly and a work table or surface; wherein the bottom carrier is positioned below the fence assembly and work table or surface. The top carrier and bottom carrier both have a pair of alignment arms with a space positioned therebetween, the alignment arms of the top carrier nest with the alignment arms of the bottom carrier. The handle portion and top carrier both have cam surfaces that engage one another such that when the handle portion is rotated around the axis of the threaded shaft the handle portion is raised or lowered thereby raising or lowering the bottom carrier, thereby locking or unlocking the fence assembly in a quick, durable, easy and accurate manner.

Abstract: Disclosed is an automated drill apparatus composed of one or more gang drills mounted to a gang drill chassis, at least one powered drive wheel affixed to the gang drill chassis, and at least three pivotable support wheels. A control panel provides remote operation of drill rotation activation, drill advance, and drill bed position adjustment, and a panic off switch. A control system implements steering the automated drill apparatus and is selectable by the operator for steering in two-wheel mode or crab steer mode. The pivotable drive wheels, in conjunction with the control panel and control system, are used to position the automated drill apparatus along a slab to be drilled, and further activate one or more gang drills for drilling a slab.

Abstract: The problem of penetrating through nets and other objects is solved by cutting the object using concentric cutters in which a rotatable cutter having floating teeth rotates concentrically about a stationary cutter having fixed teeth. The object is cut by a severing action caused by the floating teeth of the rotatable cutter sliding against the fixed teeth of the stationary cutter. Embodiments of the invention include a UUV system for penetrating through fishing nets and other objects, concentric cutting assemblies for use in the UUV system and other systems, and a method for penetrating through fishing nets and other objects. A UUV system in accordance with an embodiment of the invention has a concentric cutting assembly at the forward end and a propulsor at the aft end. The concentric cutting assembly integrates seamlessly within the UUV housing and is deployed from the forward end of the UUV, enabling the UUV to quickly and efficiently penetrate through objects blocking its path.
