摘要： A key information management system includes one or more record reproduction apparatuses and a key information management server. Each record reproduction apparatus has a substrate which can be replaced, and a nonvolatile storage unit which is mounted on the substrate and stores substrate identification information and key information of an encryption key. The key information management server includes a storage unit for storing the substrate identification information and the key information of the substrate in association with product identification information of the record reproduction apparatus, and the key information management server permits access to the storage unit through authentication. The record reproduction apparatus accesses the key information management server through the authentication after the substrate is replaced, and then rewrites substrate identification information and key information of the substrate after the replacement using the substrate identification information and key information of the substrate before replacement.

摘要： The invention provides a head mounted display apparatus and a voltage controlling method for the head mounted display apparatus by which supply of a power supply voltage to circuit components is controlled to reduce the power consumption. The head mounted display apparatus includes an image displaying section for being mounted on the head of a user and positioned in front of the eyes of the user, a power supply section for supplying a power supply voltage, and a control section for controlling the power supply voltage to be supplied from the power supply section. Whether or not the eyes of the user look away from an image formed by the image displaying section is detected from a portion of the head of user in the proximity of the eyes, and, when it is detected that the eyes of the user look away from the image display section, the supply of the power supply voltage to the image displaying section is interrupted while the detection operation remains operative by continued supply of the power supply voltage.

摘要： A display device has a line scan driving circuit disposed in a horizontal direction of a display region and a pixel driving circuit (dot scan driving circuit) disposed in a vertical direction of the display for performing image display with pixel groups each forming one line in the vertical direction being scanned in the horizontal direction. Vertical-horizontal converting circuitry is provided for converting an image data stream supplied with n pixels in a horizontal direction and m horizontal lines in a vertical scanning direction into an image data stream with m pixels in a vertical direction and n vertical lines in a horizontal scanning direction, and the vertical-horizontal converted data is supplied to the display device by a display controlling circuit. That is, image data is supplied to the displaying device as a vertical-horizontal converted data stream and display operation is executed by vertical pixel rows being scanned in the horizontal direction, as a result of which the relatively small line scan driving circuit is disposed above or below the display region instead of the relatively large dot scan driving circuit and thus the area required for circuit mounting above/below the display region is reduced and the size of the display device in the vertical direction can be effectively reduced.
