A rotation processing section (106) causes rotation of a bookshelf object (10) on a central axis of the bookshelf object (10) to be displayed in a case where a first input operation instructing display of a shelf face (11) different from the currently-displayed shelf face (11) is carried out via the input operation section (111).

摘要： In a conventional technology in which a film mode is determined when IP (interlace/progressive) conversion processing is performed, a large number of frame memory sections, that is, a large amount of memory is required and increases the cost, and it has been difficult to perform stable IP conversion processing on a pull-down signal other than a video signal, having a regularity. A film mode determination apparatus uses one frame memory section (for storing the image of a previous frame) to calculate the correlation between the images of the current frame and the previous frame and stores only an average of the correlation values of images of past several frames and the determination result (I bit) of the average. Consequently, with a small amount of memory and a simple circuit configuration, the film mode determination apparatus can determine whether input image is a 32 pull-down signal, a 22 pull-down signal, or a video signal.

摘要： During reproduction of received wide-field video data by use of a receiving side apparatus, whatever may be the type, size, resolution and orientation of a receiving side display apparatus, the video information is converted, based on information transmitted together with the video information, such that the video information is suitable for the reproducing side display apparatus, thereby achieving a faithful display. A wide-field video generating/displaying system has a virtual video display system comprising one or more display apparatus (114) and also has a real video display system comprising one or more display apparatuses (105-107) that display the video information. A transmitting side apparatus generates one or more pieces of video information and virtual video display system information based on the shape, size, resolution and orientation information of the display apparatus (114), while the receiving side apparatus performs, based on the received virtual video display system information, a conversion of the video information such that the video information is suitable for the display apparatuses (105-107), thereby displaying the video information on the video display apparatuses (105-107).
