摘要: A hot-wire cutter includes a frame, a tank supported on the frame, a first working head located on a floor of the tank, a second working head movably supported on the frame, a supporting unit supported on the frame and used to support an annular work piece, a restraining unit supported on the frame and used to clamp the annular work piece, and a rotating unit supported on the frame and used to rotate the annular work piece. Thus, a line between the first and second working heads is directed through the centers of initial apertures in the annular work piece, one after another, to facilitate precise processing of sections of the annular work piece corresponding to the initial apertures.

摘要: A flame detecting method and device are provided to improve the accuracy of flame detection and reduce the possibilities of the false fire alarm. The flame detecting method and device capture a plurality of images of a monitored area; determines whether a moving area image exists in the plurality of images; analyzes at least one of a color model and a flickering frequency of the moving area image to generate a first analyzed result and compares the first analyzed result with a feature of a reference flame image; analyzes at least one of a variation of a location and an area of the moving area image to generate a second analyzed result and compares the second analyzed result with a predetermined threshold; and determines whether the moving area image is a flame image based on results of the comparing steps.

The smoke detecting method includes steps of (a) capturing a video segment for a object and a background; (b) analyzing if an image of the object is moving; (c) analyzing a chrominance variance of the moving object with a corresponding background; (d) analyzing at least one of an edge blur of the image of the background and a flickering frequency of the moving object with its corresponding background; (e) comparing analyzed results obtained from the steps (b)-(d) to a smoke feature; and (f) determining if the moving object is a smoke.

摘要: A method and system for detecting flames are provided. The flame detection method based on image processing techniques performs the following steps to detecting flames. It first finds one or more bright objects in the images that are captured from videos. A flickering state of a bright object is then determined. To verify the existence of a flame, additionally subsequent images from the instant that a bright object first appears are utilized and the similar steps are applied to them. Finally a flame could be detected if the analyzed results are positive after the aforementioned steps have been performed.

The smoke detecting method and system capture a plurality of images; determine whether a moving object exists in the plurality of images; select the images having the moving object to be analyzed; analyze whether the moving object is moving toward a specific direction and a displacement of a base point of the moving object; and determine the moving object as a smoke when the moving object is moving toward the specific direction and the displacement is less than a threshold value.
