摘要: The invention relates to compositions for forming an aesthetic image that is a work or object of art, design or architecture. These compositions generally include a synthetic polymer or a polymer that is transparent or synthetic and translucent, with this polymer present in an amount sufficient to enable the image to have at least one aesthetic or formal element. In different embodiments, the image support medium may be an image support stabilizer, the polymer may be a conductive polymer, a light emitting conductive polymer or a synthetic absorbent polymer, it may be a transparent or synthetic translucent polymer with a property provided or enhanced to facilitate the creation or preservation of the image by at least one stabilizer, or this composition may be a work or art, design or architecture. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the composition and a method for using it to make art, design or architecture.

Compositions of the image support mediums generally include one or more light-emitting devices, one or more non-light-emissive devices capable of change, a form that is partially or entirely transparent or translucent, or a combination of these. Examples are made using organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), thin light-emitting devices, electronic paper technology and polymer compositions with an aspect of their permanence enhanced. Among other variations of the invention are works prepared with a composition or a means of display or installation that optimizes or enhances them aesthetically. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the composition and the image support medium.

摘要: The invention relates to an image support medium for creation of an aesthetic image that is a work or object for display. This support medium is made from a smart or intelligent material so that the medium provides or enables formation of an image having at least one aesthetic element that can be responsive, interactive, controlled, changed, programmed, and/or modulated. The support medium can further comprise stimuli, triggers or influences that cause the smart or intelligent material to respond to change shape, size, volume, density, light properties, color, appearance, and/or another physical property of the aesthetic element. In a preferred embodiment, the smart or intelligent material is reversibly responsive to the stimuli, triggers or influences.

摘要: The invention relates to compositions for forming an aesthetic image that is an work or object for display. The images are made from an image support medium of a compositions that generally includes a polymer in an amount sufficient to enable the image to have at least one aesthetic element. In different embodiments, the image support medium may be an image support stabilizer, the polymer may be a synthetic absorbent or conductive polymer, or the polymer is may be transparent or synthetic translucent polymer and a property of this transparent or translucent polymer is enhanced to facilitate the creation or preservation of the image by at least one stabilizer. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the composition and the image support medium. The method includes forming a reaction mixture comprising a monomer in an amount sufficient to provide or enable the image to have an aesthetic element, and processing the reaction mixture into a 2- or 3-dimensional shape.
