Abstract: A dielectric composition contains barium titanate, an oxide of yttrium, and an oxide of magnesium. 0.70≦α/β≦1.10 is satisfied, where a content of the oxide of yttrium is α mol part in terms of Y2O3, and a content of the oxide of magnesium is β mol part in terms of MgO.
