Abstract: A method including the following steps: placing a rear locking collar (62) around an outer ply (25), placing a first shaping guide (82) for shaping the folding of the end segments (32) of the outer ply (25); folding the end segments (32) of the outer ply (25) rearwards, folding the end segments (32) of an inner ply (24) rearwards. Before the step for folding the end segments (32) of the inner ply (24) rearwards, a second shaping guide (84) is placed for shaping the folding of the end segments (32) of the inner ply (24), a second shaping guide (84) being separate from the first shaping guide (82), the end segments (32) of the inner ply (24) bearing on the second shaping guide (84) after the folding step.

Abstract: A method includes providing, around an end section of the pressure sheath, of a crimping ring that is intended to be introduced into the pressure sheath; placing, around the end section and the crimping ring, of an end vault of the end piece, the end vault having an engagement surface for engaging with the crimping ring capable of pushing the crimping ring radially into the pressure sheath; relatively moving of the crimping ring in relation to the engagement surface in order to crimp the crimping ring in the pressure sheath. The method includes, prior to the relative movement, a heating of the end section of the pressure sheath, capable of reducing the Young's modulus of the polymer material of the end section of the pressure sheath and of maintaining a reduced Young's modulus during the relative movement step.

Abstract: A method for mounting an endpiece for securing a tubular pipe and apparatus for implementing same. The method includes the steps of: a) providing an endpiece and a ring (36′) having an outer rotationally symmetrical cylindrical surface (40′), and a sheath having a sheath end (32) and an outer circular edge (46′); b) inserting the ring (36′) into the sheath end (32); c) leveling off the outer circular edge (46′); and d) covering the leveled edge with the endpiece. In step b) the ring (36, 36′, 36″) is inserted leaving one of the ends (44′) thereof extending out of the sheath end (32), and in step c) the outer circular edge (46′) is leveled off, by engaging the one of the two ring ends (44′).
