Abstract: Trimmer guards and trimmers are provided. A trimmer guard includes a body having a deck having an inner side adapted for connecting the trimmer guard to a trimmer; an outer side that is substantially arc-shaped. The body of the trimmer has a first edge and a second edge each arranged between the inner side and the outer side. The body further has a skirt extending from the outer side at an angle to the deck. The body includes a line cutter assembly on a bottom surface. When the trimmer guard is connected to a trimmer, the deck and the skirt together define a space for housing a rotary cutting tool of a cutting assembly of the trimmer. A plurality of baffles are formed on the body of the trimmer guard. The baffles are adapted to reduce noise generated by the trimmer during operation.

Abstract: A power equipment including an accessory assembly detachably coupled to a first housing is provided. The accessory assembly includes a power unit interface configured to receive a motive force therethrough. A power unit is attached to a second housing. The power unit is configured to operably couple to the accessory assembly at the power unit interface to provide the motive force therethrough. A first fastener is extendable from the first housing through the accessory assembly to couple the accessory assembly to the first housing. A second fastener is extendable from the first housing to the second housing to detachably couple the power unit to the first housing and position the accessory assembly between the power unit and the first housing.

Abstract: Power tools are provided. A power tool can include a drop wheel moveable in a vertical direction about a pivot axis; a spring rotatably biasing the drop wheel about the pivot axis; a stop mechanism defining a plurality of stop positions each corresponding with a different relative position of the drop wheel; and a user interface configured to selectively disengage the stop mechanism to permit the drop wheel to rotate about the pivot axis until the stop wheel contacts an underlying surface below the power tool, wherein the user interface is disposed at a handle of the power tool.
