Abstract: In an ultrasonic detection system that uses frequency-modulation or phase-modulation coding to distinguish emitted bursts from multiple transducers, a receiver associated with a transducer uses peak search, peak buffer, and peak rank stages in one or more receiver signal processing paths to identify valid received ultrasonic signal envelope peaks in correlator outputs. The peak rank stage can support different modes respectively designed to handle one code, two or more codes, or two or more codes with support for Doppler frequency shift detection. Valid peak information (e.g., amplitude and time) can be reported to a central controller and/or stored locally in a fusion stage to generate more intelligent information for targets or obstacles using peaks from multiple bursts.

Abstract: A pressure sensor apparatus is disclosed. The pressure sensor apparatus includes a bulk acoustic wave (BAW) die having a die interface side and a pressure contact side, a sensor BAW resonator and a reference BAW resonator disposed on the die interface side of the BAW die, a control circuit die coupled to the die interface side of the BAW die via an attachment layer, and an extended opening on the pressure contact side that extends into a depth of the BAW die and is generally aligned with the sensor BAW resonator, the extended opening being configured to translate an external pressure on the pressure contact side onto the sensor BAW resonator.

Abstract: One example includes a current measurement system. The system includes at least two magnetic field sensors positioned proximal to and in a predetermined arrangement with respect to a current conductor, each of the magnetic field sensors being configured to measure magnetic field associated with a current flowing in the current conductor and provide respective magnetic field measurements. The system also includes a current measurement processor configured to implement a mathematical algorithm based on a Taylor series expansion of the magnetic field measurements to calculate an amplitude of the current based on the mathematical algorithm.
