摘要： Energy savings in an integrated DCE/VCM plant, optionally also containing a PVC plant, is accomplished by using at least part of the vapor from a DEC quenching column to supply heat to an HCl column. The DCE plant has a high boiler column operating at superatmospheric pressure, and heat is removed from an overhead stream and used to supply heat to other portions of the process.
