Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of the catalytic technologies, and provides a p-type TiO2/n-type WO3 heterojunction catalyst and its preparation and use in photochemical synthesis of fuels. The catalyst comprises p-type TiO2 and n-type WO3 supported on a surface of the p-type TiO2. The disclosure proposes to support n-type WO3 onto a surface of p-type TiO2. The catalyst has high catalytic efficiency, and is particularly suitable for use in photocatalytic processes for synthesizing fuels.

Abstract: A process for preparation of a bicyclic fused-ring alkane. In the presence of a bifunctional solid catalyst, one or more cyclitols undergo a C—C coupling reaction with itself or each other at a temperature and in a nitrogen gas atmosphere, to produce a bicyclic alkane precursor mixture; then, the nitrogen gas is replaced by hydrogen gas, and the bicyclic alkane precursor mixture is hydrogenated or hydrodeoxygenated at a temperature and under a pressure, to produce the bicyclic fused-ring alkane. The proportion of the bicyclic fused-ring alkane in the product as prepared according to the process is not lower than 80 wt %.

Abstract: Provided are a precursor compound of a tetracyclic hydrocarbon and a preparation method thereof, and a tetracyclic hydrocarbon and a preparation method and use thereof. The precursor compound of the tetracyclic hydrocarbon with a structure shown in formula I has a polycyclic structure. The precursor compound is subjected to hydrodeoxygenation so as to be prepared into the tetracyclic hydrocarbon with a structure shown in formula II that has a high density (0.986 g/cm3), a high calorific value (41.14 MJ/L), and a low freezing point (less than −60° C.).

Abstract: The present invention discloses a process for preparing perhydrofluorene or alkyl-substituted perhydrofluorene, comprising the steps of: (1) reacting a phenolic compound or an aromatic hydrocarbon compound or an aromatic ketone compound or an aromatic ether compound with a benzyl compound to carry out an alkylation reaction in the presence of a first catalyst, thereby to produce substituted or unsubstituted diphenyl methane, wherein the first catalyst is an acidic catalyst; and (2) reacting the substituted or unsubstituted diphenyl methane with hydrogen gas to carry out an hydrogenation reaction or a hydrodeoxygenation reaction, thereby to produce perhydrofluorene or alkyl-substituted perhydrofluorene, wherein the second catalyst is a physical mixture of a metal catalyst and an acidic catalyst or a metal catalyst loaded on an acidic catalyst.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a low-molecular mass organic gellant and a preparation method and use thereof, belonging to the technical field of gelled fuels. The low-molecular mass organic gellant has a cyclopropane structure. The cyclopropane structure belongs to a high-tension structure, which endows the gellant with excellent gel properties; in addition, the high-tension cyclopropane structure is also capable of greatly improving a combustion performance of the gellant, shortening an ignition delay time of the fuel, and promoting combustion. Moreover, multiple hydroxyl groups contained in the low-molecular mass organic gellant is capable of effectively forming a gel through hydrogen bonding; therefore, the gellant has excellent gel and shear thinning properties for high-energy density fuel and energetic nanofluid fuel, with a critical gellant concentration of not greater than 1% when forming a stable gel.

Abstract: A process for preparing a fused-ring alkane fuel, wherein the fused-ring alkane fuel has the following structure: wherein n is 1 or 2; R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are H or —CH3 or —CH2CH3; the fused-ring alkane fuel has a density of greater than 0.870 g/cm3, a freezing point of not higher than −50° C., and a net mass heat value of not less than 42.0 MJ/kg; the process for preparing a fused-ring alkane fuel, wherein the process includes steps of: (1) in a presence of ultraviolet light and a photocatalyst, a Diels-Alder cycloaddition reaction between a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic enone and a substituted or unsubstituted furan molecule occurs to produce a fuel precursor molecule: (2) the fuel precursor molecule obtained in the step (1) is subjected to hydrodeoxygenation to produce the fused-ring alkane fuel.
