摘要: Methods for interconverting olefins in an olefin-rich hydrocarbon stream include contacting the olefin-rich hydrocarbon stream with a catalyst system in an olefin interconversion unit to produce an interconverted effluent comprising ethylene and propylene. The contacting may be conducted at a reaction temperature from 450° C. to 750° C., a reaction pressure from 1 bar to 5 bar, and a residence time from 0.5 seconds to 1000 seconds. The catalyst system includes a framework-substituted beta zeolite. The framework-substituted beta zeolite has a *BEA aluminosilicate framework that has been modified by substituting a portion of framework aluminum atoms of the *BEA aluminosilicate framework with beta-zeolite Al-substitution atoms independently selected from the group consisting of titanium atoms, zirconium atoms, hafnium atoms, and combinations thereof.

摘要: Quinolines, polyquinolines, polybenzoquinolines, molecular segments of fullerenes and graphene nanoribbons, and graphene nanoribbons and processes for producing such materials are provided. The processes utilize a form of an aza-Diels-Alder (Povarov) reaction to first form quinolines and/or polyquinolines. In some such embodiments polyquinolines thus produced are used to form graphene nanoribbon precursors, and molecular segments and graphene nanoribbons. In many such embodiments the graphene nanoribbone precursors are formed from polybenzoquinolines.

摘要: According to the present invention, organic material is converted to biogas through anaerobic digestion and the biogas is purified to yield a combustible fluid feedstock comprising methane. A fuel production facility utilizes or arranges to utilize combustible fluid feedstock to generate renewable hydrogen that is used to hydrogenate crude oil derived hydrocarbons in a process to make transportation or heating fuel. The renewable hydrogen is combined with crude oil derived hydrocarbons that have been desulfurized under conditions to hydrogenate the liquid hydrocarbon with the renewable hydrogen or alternatively, the renewable hydrogen can be added to a reactor operated so as to simultaneously desulfurize and hydrogenate the hydrocarbons. The present invention enables a party to receive a renewable fuel credit for the transportation or heating fuel.

摘要: The present invention relates to an integrated process to convert crude oil into petrochemical products comprising crude oil distillation, dearomatization, ring opening, and olefins synthesis, which process comprises subjecting a hydrocarbon feed to dearomatization to produce a first stream enriched in aromatic hydrocarbons and naphthenic hydrocarbons and a second stream enriched in alkanes; subjecting a stream enriched in aromatic hydrocarbons and naphthenic hydrocarbons to ring opening to produce alkanes; and subjecting refinery unit-derived alkanes produced in the process to olefins synthesis. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a process installation to convert crude oil into petrochemical products comprising a crude distillation unit comprising an inlet for crude oil and at least one outlet for one or more of naphtha, kerosene and gasoil; a dearomatization unit comprising an inlet for a hydrocarbon feed to dearomatization, an outlet for a stream enriched in aromatic hydrocarbons and naphthenic hydrocarbons and a second stream enriched in alkanes; a ring opening unit comprising an inlet for aromatics and naphthenes produced by dearomatization and an outlet for alkanes; a unit for olefins synthesis comprising an inlet for alkanes and an outlet for olefins. The hydrocarbon feed subjected to dearomatization comprises one or more of naphtha, kerosene and gasoil produced by crude oil distillation in the process; and refinery unit-derived light-distillate and/or refinery unit-derived middle-distillate produced in the process. The process and the process installation of the present invention have an increased production of petrochemicals at the expense of the production of fuels and an improved ethylene yield.

The oligomer product can be formed at an oligomerization temperature in a range from −20° C. to 40° C. Polyalphaolefins produced from the oligomer product can have reduced viscosities at low temperatures.

摘要: A process includes hydrogenating, in a reaction zone, a highly unsaturated hydrocarbon received from a hydrocarbon stream to yield a product having an unsaturated hydrocarbon, the hydrogenating step occurring in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst which has a selectivity for conversion of the highly unsaturated hydrocarbon to the unsaturated hydrocarbon of about 90 mol % or greater based on the moles of the highly unsaturated hydrocarbon which are converted to the product, the hydrogenating step occurring in a reaction zone under conditions which include a flow index (IF) in a range of about 0.09 to about 35, wherein the IF is defined as: I F = F × [ CO ] V , wherein F is the flow rate of the hydrocarbon stream into the reaction zone in units of kg/h, [CO] is the concentration of carbon monoxide in the hydrocarbon stream in units of mol %, and V is the volume of the reaction zone in units of ft3.

摘要: The present invention provides a process for producing jet fuel components from syngas. Syngas is converted to methanol and ethanol, and, optionally, higher alcohols. The methanol is separated from the ethanol and higher alcohols, and converted to C5-9 paraffins and aromatics via a dimethyl ether intermediate. The dimethyl ether is reacted over a catalyst to form jet fuel range hydrocarbons and aromatics. The ethanol and higher alcohols are dehydrated to form olefins, which are then oligomerized and, optionally, hydrogenated and/or isomerized, to form products in the jet fuel range. All or part of the two separate product streams can be combined, to provide jet fuel components which include aromatics and paraffins, ideally isoparaffins, in the jet fuel range. The syngas is in one embodiment derived from biomass or another renewable carbon-containing feedstock, thereby providing a biorefining process for producing renewable jet fuel.

摘要: A method to generate a ternary carburizing gas mixture, using a reaction of selective hydrogenation of acetylene in a stream of hydrocarbons to the form of ethylene, comprising the following steps: heating of the inside of the reactor with an inert gas to an operating temperature for a period of 20 minutes at a temperature of 300° K, passing a mixture of hydrogen and acetylene by the regiospecific catalyst, and moving out the reaction products on the outside after passing the mixture through the regiospecific catalyst, but generation is effected in a continuous mode in the operating temperature range of the regiospecific catalyst between 293° K and 398° K, preferably at a temperature of 350° K.
