Abstract: To provide an ophthalmologic device and a pupil state measuring method capable of securing accuracy of a measurement result of objective measurement and effective for investigating the cause of an error during objective measurement. A pupil state measuring method according to the present invention includes: an ocular characteristic measuring step of objectively measuring an ocular characteristic of a subject eye of a subject; an imaging step of substantially simultaneously imaging an anterior ocular segment of the subject eye from different directions using at least two imaging units in measuring the ocular characteristic; a measuring step of analyzing at least one image of images taken by the at least two imaging units to measure a pupil state of the subject eye; and a step of performing the imaging step and the measuring step in measuring the ocular characteristic.

Abstract: An ophthalmologic apparatus according to the embodiments includes an OCT optical system, an alignment unit, an image forming unit, a first calculator, and a second calculator. The OCT optical system is configured to acquire OCT data of a fundus of a subject's eye by projecting measurement light onto the fundus. The alignment unit is configured to perform alignment of the OCT optical system with reference to a predetermined site of the subject's eye. The image forming unit is configured to form a tomographic image of the fundus based on the OCT data acquired by the OCT optical system which has been aligned by the alignment unit. The first calculator is configured to calculate a first tilt angle of the tomographic image. The second calculator is configured to calculate a second tilt angle of the fundus by correcting the first tilt angle based on alignment result of the OCT optical system with respect to the predetermined site by the alignment unit.

Abstract: An ophthalmic apparatus includes an acquiring unit, an OCT unit, an analyzer, and a calculator. The acquiring unit is configured to acquire a dioptric power in a first region including a fovea of a subject's eye. The OCT unit is configured to acquire OCT data of a fundus of the subject's eye using optical coherence tomography. The analyzer is configured to specify a shape of the fundus by analyzing the OCT data. The calculator is configured to calculate a dioptric power in a peripheral region of the first region of the fundus based on the dioptric power in the first region and the shape of the fundus.

Abstract: An ophthalmic apparatus and method is provided for quickly and accurately aligning a measurement optical system with the vertex of the cornea of a subject's eye. The ophthalmic apparatus comprises a main body, an infrared detection system, a support portion, a driving unit, a visible light irradiation system placed coaxially with the apparatus main body and configured to irradiate the subject's eye, at least two photographing devices configured to substantially simultaneously photograph the subject's eye from different directions, a first alignment detection unit configured to acquire Purkinje images of the subject's eye, originating from infrared light, from at least two photographed images of the subject's eye and detect a position of the subject's eye from the Purkinje images, a second alignment detection unit, and a drive control unit to align the apparatus with the subject's eye.
