摘要： A display device includes a transparent display that includes a front side displaying an image presented to a viewer, and a rear side facing away from the front side and through which the image is visible; a light control sheet that includes a light control layer containing a transparent polymer layer with a liquid crystal compound dispersed therein, the light control sheet being able to switch between a transparent state and an opaque state; and a control unit that controls the transparent state and the opaque state of the light control sheet. In the device, the distance between the rear side of the transparent display and a first surface of the light control sheet facing the rear side is 5 mm or more in air-equivalent length.
