摘要: An object is to improve the drive capability of a semiconductor device. The semiconductor device includes a first transistor and a second transistor. A first terminal of the first transistor is electrically connected to a first wiring. A second terminal of the first transistor is electrically connected to a second wiring. A gate of the second transistor is electrically connected to a third wiring. A first terminal of the second transistor is electrically connected to the third wiring. A second terminal of the second transistor is electrically connected to a gate of the first transistor. A channel region is formed using an oxide semiconductor layer in each of the first transistor and the second transistor. The off-state current of each of the first transistor and the second transistor per channel width of 1 μm is 1 aA or less.

摘要: The present application discloses a display module and a display device. The display module includes a light grating assembly. The light grating assembly includes alternately arranged first regions and second regions, and liquid crystal molecules and dye molecules distributed in the first regions and the second regions. Arrangement of the liquid crystal molecules and the dye molecules are controlled to make the first regions light-transmissive and the second regions light-transmissive under a first mode and not light-transmissive under a second mode to form alternately light and dark stripes under the second mode.

摘要: A display device includes an optical diffuser configured to, in response to receiving image light, output diffused image light having a same polarization as the image light. The optical diffuser is also configured to transmit ambient light. The display device also includes an optical assembly that includes a substrate, a reflector coupled to the substrate, and a beam splitter coupled to the substrate. The optical assembly is configured to transmit the diffused image light at a first optical power by reflecting the diffused image light at the reflector and at the beam splitter and to transmit the transmitted ambient light at a second optical power that is less than the first optical power without reflection at the reflector or the beam splitter. A method for transmitting light through the display device is also disclosed.

摘要: A liquid crystal/polymer composite electrically controlled dimming film is provided, including a liquid crystal material, a polymer matrix, and two layers of conductive substrates. The polymer matrix is sandwiched between the two layers of conductive substrates, and the polymer matrix has a porous microstructure. The liquid crystal material is dispersed in the polymer matrix to form liquid crystal microdroplets, and the liquid crystal microdroplets have vertically oriented polymer networks. The liquid crystal/polymer composite electrically controlled dimming film has a unique composite microstructure. In this composite microstructure, the polymer matrix of the porous microstructure gives the film with good mechanical processing performance. In addition, the vertically oriented polymer networks in the liquid crystal microdroplets further reduces the orientation difficulty of liquid crystal molecules, which is conducive to reducing the driving voltage of the liquid crystal/polymer composite electrically controlled dimming film, and is suitable for large area processing and production.

摘要: A privacy film and a display device are provided. The privacy film comprises a liquid crystal dimming cell and a first polarizer. The liquid crystal dimming cell comprises two opposed substrates and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the two substrates. The liquid crystal layer comprises a plurality of liquid crystal molecules, and the plurality of liquid crystal molecules have the same fixed orientation angle, and an orthogonal projection of long axes of the liquid crystal molecules on the first substrate is perpendicular to an absorption axis of the first polarizer. As such, the brightness of the display screen will not be affected when looking up from the front, and the privacy-image protection effect for decreasing the brightness of the display screen when looking up from the side is achieved.

The display panel includes a first substrate, a light modulation layer configured to switch between transmissive display and non-transmissive display, and a second substrate in this order, and further includes an optical sensor configured to detect a luminance of light incident from a first space located on one main surface side of the display panel and from a second space located on the other main surface side of the display panel. The control unit calculates, based on the luminance, a relationship between brightness of the first space and brightness of the second space as a numerical value and switches display of the light modulation layer based on the numerical value.
