The processor is configured to recognize actions of a settler at a point-of-sale terminal based on images from a camera, recognize input operations performed at the point-of-sale terminal by the settler based on information from the point-of-sale terminal and detect fraudulent acts based on a recognized action and a recognized input operation at the point-of-sale terminal. The processor outputs a fraud detection image corresponding to a detected fraudulent act to at least one of the point-of-sale terminal and an attendant terminal.

摘要: A package reception system according to an embodiment includes a measurement device with a camera that captures an image of a package and generates image data corresponding to the captured image. A first processor in the measurement device determines a size of the package based on the image data. The measurement device outputs an issuance request including instructions to perform a settlement processing with respect to a fee for receiving and transporting the package and to print an invoice to be used in connection with transporting the package. The system further includes a settlement device. A second processor in the settlement device receives the issuance request, and performs the settlement processing with respect to the fee calculated based on a size of the package determined based on the image data. The second processor controls a printer to print, after the settlement processing is performed, the invoice.

A second processor of the settlement device receives the issuance request, and performs the settlement processing with respect to the fee calculated based on a size of the package determined based on the image data. The second processor controls the storage device to store, in association, the image data, the determined size, and a package code for identifying the package.
