Abstract: According to one embodiment, a sanitary washing device includes a main part, a toilet seat, and a radio wave sensor. The main part includes a toilet seat movable part including a metal. The toilet seat is supported by the toilet seat movable part to be rotatable. The radio wave sensor is provided in an interior of the main part and uses a radio wave to detect a user in front of the main part. The radio wave sensor includes a controller that determines a state of the user and outputs a signal relating to a determination result. The toilet seat movable part opens and closes the toilet seat based on the signal. The controller is positioned further rearward than the toilet seat movable part. At least a part of the controller overlaps at least a part of the toilet seat movable part in a frontward/rearward direction.

Abstract: A sanitary washing device according to an embodiment includes a toilet seat, a main part, and a radio wave sensor. The toilet seat is provided on a toilet. The toilet seat is pivotally supported by the main part. When the toilet seat is closed, the user in front of the main part is detected by the radio wave sensor in a first region, and in a second region higher than the first region. When the toilet seat is open, the user in front of the main part is not detected in the first region by the radio wave sensor, but the user in front of the main part is detected in the second region by the radio wave sensor. The position of the radio wave sensor is not changed between the state in which the toilet seat is open and the state in which the toilet seat is closed.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a toilet seat device includes a toilet seat, and a Doppler sensor using radio waves. An opened state of the toilet seat is sensed when approach of a user to the toilet seat is sensed based on a sensing signal outputted by the Doppler sensor. It is regarded that use is in progress for urination by the user when the toilet seat is in the opened state. In a state of being regarded that use is in progress for urination, a post-use operation is performed after sensing leaving of the user from the toilet seat based on the sensing signal.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a sanitary washing device includes a main part and a sensor. The main part includes a nozzle and a flow channel switching unit. The flow channel switching unit includes a motor and switches a flow channel of water flowing toward the nozzle by an operation of the motor. The sensor is provided in an interior of the main part and includes a transmitter/receiver and a controller. The transmitter/receiver radiates a radio wave and receives the radio wave reflected by an user. The controller determines a state of the user based on the radio wave received by the transmitter/receiver and outputs a signal relating to a determination result. The main part controls an operation of the flow channel switching unit and the nozzle based on the signal. The nozzle is positioned between the sensor and the motor in a width direction of the nozzle.
