Abstract: A hot melt composition is prepared by employing an ethylenevinyl-acetate copolymer, having a vinylacetate content of 10-45% by weight and melting index of 1 - 1,000 g/10 min., and admixing at least one tackifier, wax, or asphalt and an oxidized low molecular weight polypropylene in a ratio of 1/100 - 60/10 by weight with the ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer.
