Abstract: The far side airbag system has an airbag which is deployed and inflated between adjacent vehicle seats arranged side-by-side in the width direction when an impact is detected against one of a pair of side wall portions of the vehicle. The airbag includes an upper inflation portion having a portion deployed and inflated on a lateral side of a head portion of an occupant seated in the vehicle seat on a side farther from the specific side wall portion, and a lower inflation portion in which a portion including at least a lower end of the lower inflation portion is deployed and inflated between a console box arranged between the adjacent vehicle seats and the occupant. In the upper inflation portion, the portion positioned on the lateral side of the head portion is deployed and inflated such that a dimension in the width direction increases toward a front side.

Abstract: A head portion protection airbag device includes: an airbag, formed into a folded body being folded such that a lower edge side in an unfolded state approaches an upper edge side, wrapped with an unfoldment preventing tape material and attached to the upper edge side of the window, assembled with a twisting restriction member, which is configured to prevent twisting of the folded body, on an upper edge side of the airbag, and attached to the upper edge side of the window as a bag attachment body. A plurality of attachment piece portions, which are attached to a body side of the vehicle, are arranged side by side on the upper edge side of the airbag. The bag attachment body is wrapped with the tape material in a state where the twisting restriction member is assembled to the upper edge side of the airbag in the folded body.

Abstract: An occupant protection device, which protects an occupant seated in a seat, includes: a seat belt; a front airbag device provided with a front airbag which is placed in an area of a lap belt and inflates to cover a front of the occupant when operated; and a seat airbag device provided with a seat airbag which is arranged inside a seat portion in the seat and inflates so as to raise at least a front portion side of the seat portion upward. The front airbag causes inflation gas to flow into the inside and inflates so as to protrude forward and upward when operated and a thigh abutment surface abutting on a thigh of the occupant and an upper body restraining surface restraining an upper body of the occupant are arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the front airbag when the inflation is completed.
